It’s nice to meet all you. I am she/her, can speak Toki Pona and English (non-natively), and locatable on Reddit as MozartWasARed. The links at discord.gg/sEuSSDz6TQ and deviantart.com/…/My-copyright-policy-and-the-impa… are pertinent to me.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I hope you don’t, it’s one of those questions that I couldn’t feel more relevant to.

To answer OP, Zootopia said it best.

“If the world is only going to see a fox as shifty and untrustworthy, there’s no point in trying to be anything else.”

~ Nick Wilde

Catch-22’s form when people become stuck in their ways towards each other and are self-fulfilling. This is why standing up for oneself is inferior to sitting down for oneself. I’ve discussed how a previous question of mine can be said to touch upon this, though nobody seems to have understood it. Absolute thinking is the most socially destructive mindset.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I go by more of a criteria than a list. This criteria is followed personally but fits even more at my own workplace in the protocol. The criteria is really just things like “these businesses do not follow courtesy”, things like GoodWill, Autism Speaks, and Catholic Charities. There’s a charity ranker that has listed Catholic Charities as the top charity almost three years in a low. That’s on the blacklist too, we’ve known better all along. I can give a much larger list if asked.

It’s one thing to treat your people like fools, it’s another to run on gifting by members and still do it.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

Make them think some of them have already come to Earth for whatever reason.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I’ve gotten complaints either way. If I want something I say to be short, that requires me to use what many consider oddly specific words. When people read them, they complain I’m a walking thesaurus. Then I might try the reverse to please people, where I deconstruct those oddly specific words until I get a long sentence. And the same crowd has then often complained my messages are unrealistically long. Either way, especially as a writer, what I say comes from a mind that gravitates towards the analogous and the compatible, i.e. my way of communicating is made to branch out.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

Point to where I said it was anyone’s fault.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

If my experiences are anything to go by, my vocabulary and way of speaking. Or really a lot of people’s.

This is something I don’t get. These people, when given a mathematical equation, treat the whole equation as a whole puzzle and use all its pieces to solve it. But if you say something that’s simply too wordy or where the words are “too thesaurus-like” (often to fix the first thing), they don’t “add it up” and they dump on you with Jimmy Neutron memes. I (while not being Marxist myself) remember one of my first experiences in the fediverse was talking about Marxist concepts to people who identified as Marxists and wondering from their confused reaction if they knew what Marxism entailed.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

Where do you draw the line between “word salad” and “non-word-salad”?

shinigamiookamiryuu,

Most of that has got to be miscellaneous stuff though, like maintenance testing. How would that work out for business if more than half of us were bots?

I will say though, it brings some assurance to be able to say “I’m also ____ on another website” as bots cannot operate universally with uniformity. For example, if I were to mention here how I’m DollarGeneralKenobi on PsychCentral and vice versa, it would pose a challenge to the bot thing based on the stereotype that a bot is only made to be interested in one meeting place.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

Most really just dislike “the West” for its own misdeeds and interpret that as a cue to say “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. This is a false way of going about themselves, especially considering the revelations about Palestine lately revolving crimes of mass violation, which are similar to what the perpetrators of the Nanjing Massacre did.

There is no shame in being deceived, but considering how I was treated for it all, I’ll be taking great relative pride in saying to everyone “I told you so”, just like I can do for Ukraine. Still don’t understood how anyone can say they’re pro-LGBT and not have at least a little respect for Israel or its people.

It also makes it misleading many of the people doing this siding identify as misanthropes when they like a whole faction of humanity enough to side unconditionally with them. A true misanthrope, by definition, sides with nobody. Take it from me. I have my reasons.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I face more of the downside of pooping, where sometimes it feels like some of the little shits are the physical embodiments of any such good sensations and I don’t realize it until they’ve already left the building.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I don’t have any long-term desires that come to mind that can translate into Christmas wishes.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

That’s been done, though it’s much harder to do on living things because attempting to change the DNA of something that’s still alive opens up a can of worms that makes it not worth it. They’ve once proved you can encode the whole of Wikipedia on a few strands of hair.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

Encoding/decoding. If something exists, it has a 25% chance of harboring a hidden message.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

A lot of times, yes. With surprising results.

For example, a form of letter substitution was made where different squiggle combinations were different letters, made so that a drawing can be drawn and the code could be visible in the lined drawing’s lines, making sure the code was made in such a way that it could be used no matter what was being drawn.

Colors, shapes, sizes, noise, measurements, anything that can be distinguished into forms and types is potentially someone’s communicating.

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I could give the code, but not the works. I actually forgot what the works were with that (I looked).

Can anyone else feel sensations in their brain?

Last time I checked there aren’t nerve endings in our brain, so it should be impossible to feel sensations in my brain. However, at random times during my life, like seeing the plot twist in Fight Club for example, I’ve felt feelings in my brain. I just felt it again now while doing some intense introspection, and I just...

shinigamiookamiryuu,

I mean I do get brain fog, does that count?
