I browse an All > New to find communities I like. There’s not really so much content that it’s overwhelming, unlike if you did that with a huge site like reddit.
How is that not what cheese is? As far as I understand, every cheese uses a bacterial culture, mesophilic or thermophilic. Blue cheese is different because it also has a fungal culture. But sure, usually it's put in on purpose when the cheese is made, not something that comes from the environment.
It is pretty awesome, really. Definitely adventurous. I'm sure for people brave, fit and unwise to enough to do it, that's an amazing experience. People do it under the ocean too. The problem is being hours down in a cave that can only be accessed by experts at rock climbing and scuba diving is just about the most remote location possible.
It particularly drives me insane. I've known people of that age to act super worried if they go somewhere and there's not a TV they can have on. My ex would call it 'background noise' which is exactly what I don't want... annoying and repetitive commercials, concerning and distracting news broadcasts, fictional people engaged in trauma - why not some music? or silence? I've also wondered, what's the psychology of having dialogue playing on a loudspeaker all day and just tuning it out? I pointed out to her that no wonder she seemed to have a hard time listening to me in conversation when she has trained herself to hear people talking all day and not pay any attention to what they're saying. Leaving TVs on when nobody is watching them seems really improper to me too.
The point of speaking is to express an idea clearly to listeners. So, since this usage of 'partner' to mean the other person in a romantic relationship has become popular, to be specific I say 'business partner'.
I mean the default subs that have millions of subscribers. Your subs look great topic-wise, but they have like 50 people so I don't think you're going to get ad offers yet.
Yes, actually despite claiming to be volunteers, mods of large communities on reddit are frequently offered decent sums of money for going along with shilling/advertising. That’s why many tried to become mods of hundreds of major subs, not for “power”.
