sukhmel,

Afaik, the best is to give them enough space but it should be enclosed. They pose a threat to wildlife to some extent, and some of the wildlife can harm them, besides an obvious possibility of being traumatised or lost.

sukhmel,

If you let it fall into this position from the original window position, like if you unlock it and wait for a wind gust, it may break the one remaining hinge off and fall flat. Not the best thing to experience, and replacing the window is not either

sukhmel,

Seems like a strange decision by the manufacturer who did it second. Or maybe it was a way to not pay for a patent

sukhmel,

Maybe they are just too sad to comment yet 😭

sukhmel, (edited )

Kefir
A surprisingly fitting name

sukhmel,

Maybe it’s worth to get everything fixed but slapping a painted damage on the bumper to deter the racers. But then it will look ugly again ¯_(ツ)_/¯

sukhmel,

Well, in the case when a table is empty except for the hotdog sandwich in question, I would maybe understand. But I imagine myself to be quite dumbfounded with such a naming

sukhmel,

Your comment makes me think that we’re missing (at least) one of configurations on the diagram, the one where two bases are perpendicular to each other. A slice of pizza will have that configuration, but I am too culinary-challenged to imagine anything else by that shape to name it after 🤔

sukhmel,

Except subtraction is not applicable in this case

sukhmel,

If only the driver had some way to influence the velocity 😢

sukhmel,

M&Ms will never be the same from now on 🌚 nice

sukhmel,

There are also a second hand caste of contractors, it’s the ones that work as ordinary employees but employed by another company so that they don’t get benefits

sukhmel,

That’s a shitty move 😅

But really, sometimes someone from the top just wants everyone in the office so hard that no counter-offer can outweigh the desire to quit

What search engine do you recommend that isn't Google or Bing?

I’m still trying to de-Google my life, little by little. I don’t trust Bing for similar reasons. DDG is feeling shady of late. What’s the search engine you all recommend that I can inject into my daily life? Is there perhaps a search engine that is focused on code, or have we just all moved on to AI for searching?...

sukhmel,

I’m still using it but it was fun when they had something along the lines of “your privacy is safe with us. Also, wanna leave your email?” 😅

I am thinking of migrating to Kagi now, because search in DDG is often meh

sukhmel,

Yeah, plus 10/16 stadiums on the Wikipedia page for most expensive ones are in the US.

sukhmel,

As far as I understand you, you’re just against fan fiction. I know some people that also think that whatever is non-canon shouldn’t be approached by reasonable people, but even they don’t think that it should be forbidden

sukhmel,

Could you elaborate on “harmful to the community” part? It was mentioned in another thread that they could brick the device, but I couldn’t find any details, for now at least

sukhmel,

And that’s exactly why I have installed a bunch of spy-cams everywhere around my house /s

sukhmel,

It seems like pathfinding was a bit better several patches back. I hope, they will fix it back, though.

sukhmel,

Akshully, the density plays its part becase of Archimedes force an atmosphere is applying to an object. The less dense an object is, the lighter it will weight for the same mass. E.g. the air baloon with helium inside will have a mass even higher that an empty one because of added helium mass, yet it may float up thus having a negative weight (in the atmosphere)

sukhmel,

It suddenly got me that this may be seen as capitalism (regarded by some as apex idea of humanity) is driving humanity extinct. Quite a sad irony

sukhmel,

I hope that the comment you answer to was ironical. >!Otherwise there’s no hope for us 😰!<

sukhmel,

Actually, it is a rather life-changing and in some parts dangerous “adventure.” This is mainly because you need to keep a well-balanced diet not to get a lot of health issues, plus there are a lot of questions of what and how to cook that will also require research. All-in-all there are a lot of difficulties and having some support is always good even in minor things.

sukhmel,

But since they indiscriminately kill whatever is close enough, they may supply themselves with said “meat that’s already been killed”
