What is your unpopular flim opinion

I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds

And science calls that process of life existing, which was set in place by a creator, evolution.

Evolution just describes the process we see. It doesn’t dictate what started it. You can have both.

I’m not a Democrat. I’m anti-Republican. As soon as there’s another actually viable option, or ranked choice voting, the Dems will never see me again.

You’re arguing that words don’t mean what many people use them to mean. Most service desk techs that I know have “computer engineer” in their LinkedIn.

And that’s coming from me, a person with a B.E. in computer engineering. I hate that it is what it is, but it is.

That’s my point. What it means to others is key. There are more “computer engineers” than actual computer engineers. The way language works, and by volume, the phrase is now accepted as overloaded. You can’t cling to the first definition in the dictionary and say the second definition is a lie.

And in the corporate IT space, we hire hundreds of “computer engineers” to do laptop builds.

You may already know, but Glide by oralb is great for tight teeth. It’s flatter and slippery. The only issue I’ve found is that it snaps more often.

I always find this interesting because my story went something like this:

“ADHD are just people with normal impulses, but more frequent and less able to control them”

“I’m smart and able to multitask really well. Sure I fixate on things sometimes but everyone does. And of course I can have that espresso before bed. Caffeine doesn’t affect me.”

“Everyone creates patterns in their life to remember basic things. Counting steps in my daily routine, time boxing tasks with alarms, and giving myself lots of little rewards is just efficient time management. I wouldn’t call it a coping mechanism”

“Having kids is stressful and my patterns are broken, that’s normal right? I should talk to someone.”

“What do you mean I’m ‘ADHD as fuck’. You’re a doctor, that’s not appropriate language”

“This medication reduces a lot of my internal anxiety and let’s be be in control of my life. I had no idea normal people felt like this all the time”

So, please, tell us how neurodivergent traits all seem normal to you. And welcome to the club.
