My PC is hacked

I just received a call from an indian microsoft technician. He informed me that my PC is sending a ton of error messages to microsoft. Most likely it has been hacked, and he would help me by remoting in and fixing the problem for me. I just wonder… Is it my PopOs or my Manjaro PC that sends all this info to microsoft?

What's an alternative to Spotify that doesn't play you the same fucking songs over and over?

I am in an intense love-hate relationship with Spotify. It makes good mixes for me, I have found a lot of great bands that way. BUT IT KEEPS REGURGITATING THE SAME SONGS IN THERE. I know about Song Radios and Artist Radios, so please don’t recommend those. Smart Shuttle doesn’t cut it, either....

Because in general, most of them look like straight garbage. They say you eat with your eyes first so you’re swallowing a whole lotta depression before your first bite. Plate it up and pretty it up with some garnish. Some brands look better than others too. Stouffers and Boston Market come off as more of a home-cooked look.

Unless we’re focusing on the alone part. Can’t help you there. The answer as to why it feels that way is pretty obvious.

What things do you do while eating?

I have a terrible habit of watching Youtube while I eat, and then one video turns to ten and I’ve wasted the entire day. I’ve tried just not watching it while I eat, but JUST eating is so incredibly boring that I cave in and turn it on regardless. I can’t get any work done while eating either, since it takes me out of flow...

You may want to look into something like Soylent. If I’m eating alone I’m usually flicking through Lemmy or watching something like you.

how to know an instance is gone?

I have been posting to a community on lemmy.fmhy.ml for a while now. Someone notified me that since it’s down no one else will see my posts. I assume that only people on my instance can see them. Connect app won’t let me post there but doesn’t tell me why, and I’ve asked about that in its community. The web page lets me...

Whoever has access to the server of your instance can query the database for whatever they want, but no… just an admin can’t see this info.
