Now it’s two. But they are probably not billionairs but just people who think one can rightfully earn 1000 Million with honest work, by contributing something good to society or something. Or they believe they will become billionairs too at some point if they work hard enough to make their employer rich.
What has her virtue signaling to do with posts on lemmy who are not talking about her at all? If she coincidentally expresses some opinion that someone else also has, that doesn’t mean they defend her or haven’t got a problem with the fact that she’s a billionair (also born exceptionally privileged).
The “journalism” about israel/gaza here in germany is a complete shame across the board. German media, even (or especially) the publicly funded media, literally try to hide the discussions that the rest of the world is having about this war. Things like these: nytimes.com/…/israel-qatar-money-prop-up-hamas.ht…
And of course they are failing. Also, whenever something happens that they can’t ignore, they use euphemisms to describe war crimes of the israli side instead of just stating the facts. Many journalists are literally scared to lose their jobs if they report to honestly about this conflict. It’s insane.
Hahaha yees! The start menu search is hilarious!! You install a software, type in the exact bame of the software afterwards and the start menu search gives you the installer from your download folder instead of the installed program with the exact name you typed. The devs must have a lot of fun there. This is peak satire.

I’m administering a wiki.js instance. Despite it being written in node, it’s a pretty nice wiki with a lot of modern features builtin. The only other wiki I’ve ever setup and used was mediawiki, which is obviously a complete legacy php clusterfuck where you need add-ons (which are terrible to install and configure) for everything.
I have installed the big 2 browsers on my Ubuntu!! I love them!! I use Google Chrome more of course n.n but I was wondering if I should get Edge now, I like the cute design + AI integration, but I don’t think it’s necessary because I already have Chromium, which is just the baseline for Edge, but still it could be a nice...
How can you even use a system with only 3 browsers installed? Quick, install edge! Also don’t forget brave, the famous crypto scam that looks like a browser and is run by a homophobe asshole.
Hahaha suuure. I mean that’s what the großaktionärs and their pathetic lobbyists tell you, so it has to be true, right? I mean, why would they possibly lie to you about something that makes them richer and all workers poorer?! The actual reasons why german wirtschaft suffers are not related in the slightest to Arbeitnehmerrechte. There are many reasons, here are just some of them:
HUGE lack of staatliche Investitionen (that’s the main difference to the wirtschaftlich successfull states in the world). This is something that piled up during the last decades actually, because the former regierungs were even worse in this regard that the current one, basically destroying whole industries that could have had a bright economic future in this country. Instead, the current FDP dullis that run our Regierung mostly gift 39Mrd. to Unternehmen (by lowering their Steuers) which mainly benefit said Großaktionärs (who don’t spend the money so it’s not in the Wirtschaftskreislauf at all) and only lead to approx 11 Mrd. of private investments by those Unternehmen. So it would have been much more productive to invest that money directly as Regierung.
Dumb as fuck decisions by EZB to raise Zinsen through the roof (because they don’t understand the difference between a temporary Energiepreis-Schock and Inflation), making private and public investments more expensive and thus hindering them.
Low wages leading to low Kaufkraft in Mittelschicht, leading to very little Konsum, which in turn becomes a problem for local Wirtschaft.
(Not a small point): External factors like china not buying as many cars from our zurückgebliebene Autoindustrie anymore (that completely fucked up by trying to milk their last century dampfmaschinen technology for ever, missing the anschluss)
20% is a LOT. That’s probably because of the random shit that nobody ever asked for but windows is always doing in the background anyway. Building a search index, windows update (which consumes an insane amount of CPU for a completely unreasonable amount of time sometimes), other individual updater services (because there can’t be one program that updates everything because every vendor does their own proprietary bullshit to handle updates), compressing and sending all you personal data to microsoft and of course the pre-installed McAffee (on trial license) that works hard to make your system less secure (that HP probably installed for you because apperently you haven’t paid enough money for the computer, so you must pay with your patience and your privacy as well). Depending on the benchmark, the pathetic legacy file system windows uses might also play a role.
Ma…ma… Marvel movies are mostly redundant bullshit without even a single relevant thought in them. Just like these mass-produced romcoms, same level. They will probably be the first movies written and produced by inferior AI soon and it won’t even make a big difference.

Yes, the linux kernel will work! I’d say it’s even more likely that wifi, soundcard, etc. work without any problems than if you’d buy a bleeding edge laptop (although these mostly also just work nowadays). The oldest machine I’ve got is a laptop from 12 years ago which easily runs modern linux, but even much older machines shouldn’t have a problem with that, at least not with the kernel.
The point is imagining that others would look up to you*
*While in reality, literally not a single person on earth gives even the tiniest fuck about you wasting money on a useless, annoyingly noisy and wasteful fucking car. Exceptions are 5 year olds and people who never exceeded that intellectual level.
Considering what the device on the left is capable of compared to the device on the right, the cable management on the left suddenly looks very elegant and efficient.
