How does it compare to TempleOS though?

Never heard of it thanks for sharing. The app section of the join lemmy website should have get some push requests to include all the current apps.

Great! Looks like it might be coming to Fdroid soon. I will wait until then.

    mahavir, (edited )

It is already available on F-Droid through Izzyondroid repo.

Enkers, (edited ) to opensource in The issue to create a new main menu for Minetest has been open for 6 years.

I’m a long time heavily modded minecraft player, and I’ve never heard of this issue. If you want proper feedback, I’d suggest adding more context. (That is to say, an outline of the feedback, so we don’t have to wade through 6 years of discussion.)

Minecraft has always had a janky aesthetic, so this doesn’t seem like it’s particularly out of the ordinary.

    rufus,

Hehe, this is about MineTEST, a “clone” of Minecraft. So it’s probably understandable you’ve not heard of the issue. 😏

    Enkers,

    That explains it! Lol.

    Wrong game. Minetest, not Minecraft.

    Enkers, (edited )

Ah, I assumed it was part of some sort of OSS mod suite for minecraft. My mistake.

I have yet to find something that tops Dsub despite how unfinished even Dsub is

    tordenflesk, (edited )

Same for me. I only really use dsub/gonic to cache a random selection of my collection, by letting a shuffled playlist play until the cache is full.

So far none of the other apps appear to have this simple function.

Frankly, I’d rather pay a motivated and focused developer if the product is good. And Symfonium is fantastic.

    clmbmb,

Agree. That’s why I paid for it.

Dope, thank you for posting. Been using ‘Core CTRL’ for quite awhile but Imma give this a rip. For some reason the former tool never could control the fan curve for my GPU (all the other fans in the box worked fine with it) so this might be profit.

penquin, to linux in Today I discovered Garuda's BTRFS assistant and it's a total game changer.

Is there a difference between this and timshift/timeshift autosnap/grub-btrfs?

    Holzkohlen,

Timeshift forces you to use a very specific layout of btrfs partitions or whatever those are called. On Fedora.for instance, unless you set them up manually, Timeshift will not work. Snapper isn’t so picky.

    penquin,

I never had to set it up. I use endeavour OS and all I did was choose “btrfs” in the installer. That’s it. I just installed timeshift after that and ran it like normal. No issues. Installed auto snap and grub-btrfs and I’m in the races.

This isn’t even close to being okay. It’s 100% bullshit.
