I thought the acting from most of the cast was pretty solid. The visual effects were nice while still harkening back to the Original Trilogy and looking “outdated” in certain respects. I loved Poe and I thought that Phasma was pretty badass if underutilized, then again that’s kind of consistent with Star Wars at this point. I loved the new scores. Crait was visually gorgeous with the salt and red earth combination. Lightsaber battles in new locations was also really awesome, especially the snow sequence in The Force Awakens. The blue and red shining off of the snow looked so cool. I thought Takodana was a really neat location and the shots of the X-Wings flying in were stunning. Han using the Bowcaster was kind of hilarious. As someone who was raised in a really abusive household, I also really appreciated and loved the theme of not being who your family is. Ben/Kylo obviously went to the darker extreme but Rey also rebelled pretty hard against her lineage and I related to that.
Can we just have a normal, boring year for once, please? I’m so tired…
I’m right there with you.
But at least you can think of this to console you: You’re not actually fighting in a world/civil war, down in some troops trench somewhere, reading this (at least that’s my hope for you).
Other generations have had to go through major wars, but so far we’ve been dodging that bullet, for the most part.
I married at 22 over 20 years ago did not regret a day… I think a happy marriage is just a lot of luck a lot of self reflection and effort. No matter the age it is not a self running maintenance free system
I met my wife in high-school, we married at 21/22, it’s going to be our 19th anniversary this year. So yeah, definitely go lucky, and I would discourage my kids from doing the same even though it worked great for us.
Very interesting perspective that you wouldn’t encourage your kids to do the same as you, why’s that?
To be honest if my kids married at 20 it’s not like I’d try to stop it, despite my reservations about it. I’d think it was a potential mistake but that’s coming from me as concern rather than disapproval.
Google “Only spy the web” is highly inaccurate…they are everywhere. In every website, in your android phone, in your YouTube, in your Google drive, in your email, in your Google maps…
It’s cute, people think their android os isn’t collecting an embarrassing amount of data. Even if you turn everything off but cellular, it still phones home with cellular tower triangulation, app usage, call history, general web activity, weather the phone thinks your walking driving or riding a Bike, device diagnostics, etc.
Same, I wish there was a better options. I’m on android right now but when it comes time to upgrade I always try to choose the lesser evil and it’s hard.
Very good! The cookie itself was pillowy and the lemon tartness was mild. Rather than plopping from a spoon I quickly rolled them into 1/2" balls.
The slight sweetness of the chocolate ganache contrasted with the lemon, I liked it as a dessert cookie. The lemon glaze emphasized the lemon in the cookie and was very bright!
