However, animals are hard to care for and die easily, so many people “fake” that status by having an artificial animal. In the book, Deckard and his wife are quite devastated over the loss of his goat.

Interestingly, I can search for my pixelfed user ( @negativenull ) in Lemmy search, and can find the user, but it shows zero posts. When I search my Lemmy user in Pixelfed, I find it, but it shows zero posts.
