Yeah. I never really watched shorts, but I recently started watching them and I get tons of right-wing/red-pill shit in there despite clicking on “dont recommend this channel” (or whatever it says) on like 50 of those types of channels.
This all made me realize while I had a reddit account for awhile, I never truly was on it much at all until I discovered Boost. Then it became a daily part of my life. Looking forward to the new Boost while I check out the other apps.
kind of. It has “view context”, which doesn’t show the parent, but it also has “more context”, which will. So between the two you can get what you’re looking for in 2 clicks
I didn’t enjoy it at first, but seeing progress in my weightlifting encouraged me a ton. Eventually I did start enjoying the actual workout, and if I skip a day it feels like something is missing.
Ive been lifting for about 4 years, it took 6-12 months for me to start enjoying the process.
McDonalds is a standard, but I prefer Arby's seasoned curly fries
Wendy's recently changed their fries and they're good enough, but prefer Smash fries.
(Special mention goes to Canadian KCF, which offers fries and gravy instead of mashed potatoes and gravy. I don't know if their US fries are different because I don't mess with that if mashed 'taters are an option.)
Five guys and Checkers
Steak 'n Shake and Popeyes
Overall, if I were choosing a place based solely on the fries: Smash > Five Guys > Popeyes > Arby's
The top two spots were tricky. I like the 5 guys fresh cut style, but Smash mixes a traditional thin cut fast food fry with rosemary. And they don't make things weird by giving you more than you can or should eat.
The only one I actively dislike is Chick-fil-A, but some of the other offerings are 'meh' enough that they need ketchup.
Missing entries: Penn Station and Skyline. They're both regional, but I like both of them over most of the other offerings. Penn Station has fresh-cut style and Skyline's fries are thin and crispy.
What you do is take a screenshot of the desktop, rotate it 180° in MSPaint, set it as the background, hide and move the taskbar, hide desktop icons, and set the screen rotation to landscape flipped in the display settings. You’ll get a desktop that appears normal but can’t be interacted with, and a cursor that moves upside down and backwards. Rotate your victim’s mouse the wrong way around if they’re gullible and they’ll think the mouse messed everything up,
I hate being in a gym, all those people around, not being able to see outside, stationary…yuck.
I picked up cycling and try and ride my bike frequently. I used to be much more into it, but that was also as a stoner kid and it was a great way to get out some energy before work and calm down after work.
Now it’s more of an effort but I like to reward myself with a beer and some food. I try to ride about 14 miles every other day. It takes an hour or two at my pace but I can spend that time thinking, listening to music or a podcast. It can be really meditative and it feels good to have my muscles tired.
I rode my bike exclusively on the hardest hills known in my city. Like hills that took 2h and had inclinations that would make it extremely hard to start if you stopped pedaling.
RIP your legs, I have freaking trunks. It’s stupid how big they are, I can’t get both hands around just above my knees. I would rather have chicken legs.
