Don't drink coffee then.

Get anti diarrhea medicine, have electrolyte drinks in moderation.

Wouldn’t those give you constipation after you’ve finished though

Eat laxative after, simple.

I just dk if it works like that

BurnedDonutHole,

His toilet schedule is not my problem. Joking aside laxatives will solve the issue or his own metabolism after a while.

Or legally prescribed opiates

BurnedDonutHole,

Since op is talking about walking and staying in a tent I’m guessing op will need all the mental and physical faculties working instead of being sedated.

Tbf, there's a difference between knowing instinctively that someone poops and being first-hand witness to the godawful stench of post-chipotle bowel movement in an area with poor air circulation (AC aside).

Crush is definitely involved though.

AmidFuror, in Whaf do you think of hosting an AMA with John Oliver to make Lemmy/kbin officially a viable Reddit replacement?

I mean, if we can't get Obama, I guess.

Gormadt, in Side effects of nitric oxide?
@Gormadt@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

You should talk to your doctor about what you're doing and experiencing. Because it sure sounds like you're either doing a breathing technique wrong and suffocating yourself or you're doing it right and have an underlying condition that's making whatever you're doing dangerous.

TLDR talk to a medical professional not social media about it.

Neeps, in How did Ikea's Blajah became the symbol of the trans community ?

It is very soft and cute and may also help you hide medication from parents

Cameli_Hostis, in Side effects of nitric oxide?
@Cameli_Hostis@lemmy.world avatar

You're thinking of Nitrous Oxide (N2O). Nitrous Oxide is used during some surgeries (I took it when they pulled my wisdom teeth) and abused by people trying to get high. Nitric Oxide (NO) is apparently a vasodilator (it relaxes blood vessels allowing more blood to flow). It's produced naturally by the body, and you can buy supplements if you really want your pee to have more Nitric Oxide in it (taking most supplements just makes your body get rid of the extra by filtering it through the kidneys).

I don't know anything about the Buteyko method, but it sounds like a fad/scam medical practice with no proven benefits. But you do you, just don't do the tape thing, that sounds dangerous.

GratefullyGodless, in I need to survive for 3 days without pooping, and eating as little as possible. I can pee, but not very often. It can't take up too much space. What food do I pack?
@GratefullyGodless@lemmy.world avatar

I was worried that lemmy wouldn't reach the pinnacle of quality to match reddit, and then this post came along to soothe those fears. Good luck on your no poop quest.

This is the perfect comment, I laughed so hard

sarsaparilyptus, in This Lemmy instance is not "healthy"

The admins are tankies and remove tons of content as being Orientalistic or some shit. It's pathetic.

ritswd,

I’ve been intrigued by this, the only source I’ve seen about the Lemmy devs being tankies is one user posting on Mastodon that they reported quite pretty despicable tankie comments on that instance, and the Lemmy devs (who also admin the instance) refused to take them down. Which I would get and I don’t think it makes them agree with the comments, in the “I disapprove of what you say but I will fight to the death your right to say it” kinda way.

Was there anything else? This is the first I hear of them actually removing content.

sarsaparilyptus,

I mean, all you have to do is click on Dessalines' profile, his banner image is Chairman Mao. He also posted on reddit years ago bitching that r/Socialism banned him for his beliefs, which of course were posting LaRouche cult nazbol nonsense and genocide denial. It's all right there on Google dude. Plus you can see removals on the mod logs.

MargotRobbie, in Whaf do you think of hosting an AMA with John Oliver to make Lemmy/kbin officially a viable Reddit replacement?
@MargotRobbie@lemmy.world avatar

Other thought: I think in recent years, AMAs have been trending towards decentralization towards the individual subreddit level anyways, because neat people want to interact with groups that would be interested in what they are saying, otherwise they are going to get drowned out by the noise in something big like r/iama.

Which means that the only people who are going to do an AMA on a big, general subreddits are mostly people who have a lot of money and influence to sell things to the biggest audience, like to promote a major blockbuster, for example.

So, if we have a big Last Week Tonight fan community on Lemmy, yeah, let's welcome John Oliver there, but he's not going to come to help ex-redditors spite promote Lemmy, what's in it for him?

Since decentralization is the way forward for the Fediverse, AMAs should be decentralized toward the community level anyways, and maybe with a dedicated community to aggregate them across the Fediverse, having a centralized instance solely for AMAs is what led reddit down its current path.

fruitywelsh,

I mean, being a death nail on a corporation’s IPO for spite and content is on brand for him

MargotRobbie,
@MargotRobbie@lemmy.world avatar

Yeah, but why would he want to jump straight into the mess instead of watching from the sidelines and write jokes about it?

Can you imagine the questions that's going to be asked on Lemmy if he actually does do an AMA?

  • "Uh, what do you think about reddit closing its API access so there's no third party apps any more"
  • "How do you feel that reddit userbase is spamming with your pictures instead posting normal content?"
  • "Horse sized duck or duck sized horse?"
  • "Upboat to fuck spez am I right?"
  • "More sexy pictures pls."

See?

Linnce, in Deleted

I don't think it ruins the joke nor does it bother me. If it helps people see the joke it's fine. Also it's probably useful for those who have a hard time understanding others, like people with autism.
