Video games for one. Hated the UI (only thing I’ve ever hated worse was the BS Windows pulled with 8, which I skipped). The GUI experience just felt… Like a very distant after thought. Only reason I use Linux at all is on servers (homelab) because… Well the cost is spot on and once I get it working I don’t have to deal with it anymore.
Which distros have you tried? I was given Ubuntu and thought I hated Linux. It turns out that I just hated the UI, and some other distros were actually ok.
however, i was raised for 18 years in the st. louis area so that’s my preference- STL style thin crispy crust, provel cheese, square cut. pretty opposite to what you’ll find in a detroit style 'za.
Never had it until recently. We tried it from a place called Pi-Squared Pizza in Hendersonville, NC. It was great, and we’d like to try it from other places now.
Client of mine took me to a place north of the airport that had pizza and wings and it was really good. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t had Detroit style before. I think it was Buddys, but can’t be sure.
Depending on your definition of literary, one of my favorites was Hellboy’s My Vacation in Hell. If I end up finding a version posted somewhere, I’ll add a link.
