Unfortunately only chrome has full support for Dragon professional, and Edge can be made to work. The dragon extension for Firefox stopped working and Microsoft, who now own dragon, doesn’t have any incentive to fix it.
The unofficial supper via the ClickbyVoice extension doesn’t have a Firefox version.
I would love to hear alternatives that support link numbering and voice commands :)
I’ve been saying this for damn near 15 years. It’s odd that people migrated from Firefox to Chrome in the first place. Obviously not everyone who uses Chrome did that but I know quite a few people who did and are now talking about switching back. These are people who generally believe independent and open source is the best way to go too.
It’s odd that people migrated from Firefox to Chrome in the first place.
I migrated from Firefox to Chrome years and years ago when Chrome was lightning fast with a bazillion tabs open and Firefox had some memory leak that forced me to reload a couple times a day. I have since moved back and realized all my old problems are no longer a thing, but I can definitely see why some would have made the switch and never tried moving back.
From what I saw. It was more Internet Explorer to Chrome.
Back in the day Firefox wasn’t as polished as it was now. Think more Open Office than Libre Office.
All machines had IE and it sucked, crashed but was default. Then I tried Chrome and it was good. Then moved everyone to it since the alternatives weren’t as good.
Years later, chrome is still good compared to IE, but now Firefox is slightly better. For all intent and purpose it’s the same but some qol features here and there made me move.
But for everyone else they don’t want or need to move. So until it gets worse than IE they’ll stay.
Love finding me. I’m not particularly feely and didn’t have examples of loving couples growing up. Did not see that coming, wasn’t on the horizon at all. Got lucky.
I didn’t until recently. I wanted to give companies I valued credit, in some way. But, ads are completely out of control and it broke me so I started using ublock a few months ago. It’s so much better and I’m not looking back.
By luck: meeting my husband online in a random forum. Self explanatory.
By choice: getting top surgery (a double mastectomy). What a literal and figurative weight off my chest! Being able to just walk outside without wrestling into a binder or being worried about if people noticed my chest was such a game changer. You don’t realize what a gift it is to be able to get up and go outside on a whim until you can’t do it.
spoilerWhen the leader of the rebellion died in the attempted heroic scene and everyone was distraught and shocked, I was just think “Why do I care? He’s said a couple of lines and been on screen for about 5 minutes…”
I don’t even understand how the characters even cared about each other. Even in the story it seems like they knew each other for like a couple days max.
5 minutes before he was clearly on his suicide mission I said, “I hope Ray Fishers character dies so he doesn’t have to be part of this garbage for part 2”
Then he died in the most meaningless and rehashed way and I was glad for him.
Dunno why you’re getting downvoted. This is a fun question.
I don’t know how to answer it but I guess I would have to bet with my heart and say we skip straight to the last chapter: Trump is toppled and replaced by some only slightly lesser evil who is at least forced to make some (temporary) pro-social concessions to the wider populace.
I was responding to your wondering about why this dumbass post was being downvoted by stating that The Hunger Games and talking about Trump is beyond exhausted and boring. I then supplied an equivalent question to OP’s but backdated the content about 40 years for comedic effect.
I suppose though the real and only proper response to you is:
Maybe you’re noticing it more because deleting comments used to remove them completely from view including any replies, but I think recent updates to Lenny’s code changed this and now we see DELETED instead.
Watched this over the Christmas break. The best review I had read from someone else was from a post on Lemmy that said something to the effect of “if you set up a TV to play 10 generic sci-fi movies and just changed the channel between them allrandomly you’d end up with a film as cohesive as Rebel Moon.”
