None really. I think I’ve always been in a privileged enough position that I never really needed to worry. I’m not a big impulse buyer and tend to regulate myself on this. If I buy something that I don’t really use as much as I thought I would, it annoys me so much that I become much more conservative with spending in the following weeks/months. It kinda self-regulates.
I don’t have a car, and instead bike everywhere or use public transport which saves me a lot of money. This is again a privilege, because I managed to land an affordable place to live that’s close to work.
My only way of keeping track of all this is the division between my payment and savings accounts. If my payment account goes above a certain value, I move money to my savings account. As long as this keeps happening regularly, like it has for years, I have nothing to worry about. Obviously I do check the details of my spending every now and then, but nothing organised.
I was curious so I looked it up but everything I could find said 0% protein for Tazo English breakfast, so I went to my box of tea, another brand English breakfast, and alongside the table with the information for just the tea infusion (calories are specified as less than 4kcal, <4kcal) is another table for a serving with 30ml semi-skimmed milk with 1.2g protein. Could you post maybe a picture of the labeling?
Any soup and any bread - both homemade. I cant stomach canned soup, but I make my own, prodigiously, and freeze it.
My favorite is broccoli cheddar soup, followed by a spicy tomato bisque which somehow seems it gets spicier the longer it stays in the fridge, then ham bone soup, then caldo verde portugese soup, then potato leek, and my most recent one was a red cabbage bisque which I have mixed feelings about, but I love to see the horror on my colleagues faces as I tuck into a weird, dark purple goopy monster blood lunch.
I like to make a skillet flatbread, the same kind i make when im camping. Water, flour, yeast, salt, olive oil, half a day of hanging out in my backpack while im hiking, punched down and pasted to the inside of a frying pan, smothered in dried herbs or maybe crushed pepitas, whatevers handy, covered in foil and baked on a campfire. It never comes out the same way twice. Sometimes the crust is burned, but flatbread is really forgiving, just scrape off the burned bits and theres good bread underneath.
i wonder about other behaviors as well. like, are tigers also into making biscuits before a nap? would lions also bow for a bongo solo on the base of their tail? how excited would a leopard be to stumble onto a giant heated blanket?
Bho ko - a spicy Vietnamese beef stew - immediately comes to mind for me. It’s savory, hearty, fragrant. Has a touch of sweet. Great mix of eastern and western ingredients so it’s familiar and comforting on many levels. A Vietnamese friend of mine made it for a dinner party a few years back and it set off the cravings.
I like mine without noodles, and instead with toasted french bread for dipping.
I think there is an option in Settings. Under privacy there is a toggle for Listening Activity to hide it from followers. It’s below the temporary version of the setting, Private Session I think you are thinking of. Why a temporary privacy setting would be such an option is beyond me.
Just so everyone knows, since upvotes are public on the Fediverse anyway, I only upvoted this because it was the first response I saw when I opened the thread and it caused me to physically crack up laughing.
For shame on your immature and uninformative comment, otherwise. For shaaaaaame.
