Penis steps in front of brain: I have a suggestion

Smoogs, in Inspirational

After doing back breaking and expensive work cleaning a close relative’s house up after a hoarder rented with this exact attitude, you can fuck right off with it, mr koala.

DragonTypeWyvern, (edited )

I’m confused about whether you don’t think hoarders aren’t mentally ill?

Pretty obviously things wrong with them.

Hell, on that topic, don’t help your landlord friend for free. They want to run a business they can pay for your labor.

Smoogs, (edited )

Not when they are terminally ill, elderly and on a pension. Other people are allowed to have illnesses and conditions and one person with an illness is not an excuse to take advantage of the vulnerable.

At best it’s an explanation. It Doesn’t give them a pass with that behavior.

irmoz,

Not when they are terminally ill, elderly and on a pension.

Not… what?

Other people are allowed to have illnesses and conditions

Ok?

one person with an illness is not an excuse to take advantage of the vulnerable.

Then… stop letting them take advantage of you?

Smoogs,

‘Letting them”

Manipulators are in the wrong. Stop shaming victims.

irmoz, (edited )

You changed your tune pretty fucking quick. What happened to his terminal illness being used as an excuse?

DragonTypeWyvern, (edited )

A pension.

And income from their rental properties.

Their business.

But, hey, they made a life out of exploiting renters, why not exploit their friends and family too before they kick it?

Nah, you’re right.

Mentally ill people just need to stop being ill, lazy bastards!

PersnickityPenguin,

Ah so you’ve met my elderly mum

It’s not his. He borrowed it off a mate.

meliaesc,

He has friends then!

model_tar_gz,

Not really. More of an acquaintance, or maybe a ‘work friend’.

HonoraryMancunian,

He has a job at least!

NorthWestWind,
@NorthWestWind@lemmy.world avatar

That was a ‘work friend’

intensely_human,

Well at least he’s not on fire

Kase,

Maybe not, but you are.

IndiBrony, in [Strange Planet] I too have acclimated
@IndiBrony@lemmy.world avatar

I know these feels. Some of us don’t get to lift ourselves up, though. It’s just a long list of letdowns.

psmgx, in Inspirational

Sometimes you gotta admit it is what it is and move on.

intensely_human,

What if it’s not what it is though??

Twinklebreeze, in Apples for sale

This comic makes so little sense it’s underflowed back to funny for me.

thorbot, in No escape

This is why I just wrap my scrotum around the handle to open it, problem solved

phorq, in Dolphin Man

Proceeds to eat all the fish and do a surprisingly sophisticated double-backwards-somersault through a hoop whilst whistling the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ as thanks before leaving dolphin man behind on earth…

Is this a reference to The Etymology Nerd

Annoyed_Crabby, in "Proposal" by Shenx Comic

“And thus, the first known dwarf began their journey deep down the earth. They’re short not because of genetic, no, they just prefer short partner, as they’re perceived as more down-to-earth.”
