Yesterday I created a post on a regional community on lemmy.ca....

This is a repost from the matrix & mastodon channel. My account was banned on the platform “lemmygrad.ml” without any explanation & indefinitely after not using it for 1 or 2 days, here’s my profile “lemmygrad.ml/u/abieNathanTheyThem”....

I took a 2 month ban from worldnews@lemmy.ml...

I noticed that some instances seem to sort of shadowban users from what I presume is any instance not on a whitelist....

I know that Thunder can filter the posts but only limited. It only hides the currently loaded ones and only on button press. You need to do it over and over. Is there an app that does it automatically?

My lemmy-ui container is spiking cpu usage and looking into the logs the following shows up (900.000 lines in total). Any ideas what the issue could be? I’m on 0.19.1, everything seems to be working fine aside from the logs filling up and the usage piking sometimes....

I’m getting an error when trying to access the PC master race community on lemmy.world “couldnt_find_community”. I can’t even read my own comments on there. Strange, considering as far as I know we haven’t defederated from .world. Anybody know how I can fix this or should I message the admins?

I am creating a community that would be text only and not sure how to go about changing this setting.

How do you block a lemmy account from your community, when they’re on an instance your mod account can’t see??? There’s someone spamming my community from k.bin, but the posts aren’t showing up on sh.itjust.works so I’m not sure how to delete the posts or even block the account. Can someone help please?
