Anecdote, but all of my friends & family members that depend on me for computer support have already stopped using it. IT at my company has also decided to stop loading it with their install images, because "ads are known attack vectors".
Makes me wonder why they’re actually doing it. How much revenue do they think they’ll gain from blocking ad blockers? Are they doing this for that revenue, or are they trying to tell advertisers that Google ads are a safer investment?
It didn’t even make sense, because the point of Google was never to make money anyway. The point of Google was to make investors believe it was worth billions of dollars.
I don’t follow. The cooler designs on modern midrange and high end GPUs are way bigger and more elaborate than anything that has ever shipped on a $150 GPU.
There are also great coolers that come on stock cards, you just have to pick one that isn’t shitty. No temp issues with my EVGA or Gigabyte cards that have huge heatsinks and 3 big fans on them.
Oh man, as soon as I saw “there was a French guy” I thought this was about Tarrare. He was even more unbelievable, but at least the fart maniac isn’t as unsettling
I mean, a good chunk of things are things I don’t like because they are fascist. For example: ethno states intent on committing genocide. Or attempts to conflate disdain for a state and its settler colonialism, as disdain for an entire people, which I suppose is fascist in and of itself.
Or are you saying that you have such a refined pallet for preferences that you like everything except things that are fascist?
Ok, so it’s not “everything I don’t like is fascist”, but it’s “everything I don’t like is either fascist or a colonizer”. Got it. Makes way more sense that way. Mb try to actually have good arguments besides that is exactly what [group I don’t like] would say.
Big air coolers don’t fit because there isn’t enough height off the CPU inside the case. An O11 Dynamic (regular size) doesn’t fit an NH-D15, for example, but it fits water cooling with at least one regular thickness 360mm rad on top just fine. (And also one on the bottom, and a thin one on the side).
EDIT: I wanted a Noctua but with my two big GPUs, there is no space for a Noctua… and depends on which motherboard also includes water cooling tubes already built-in.
Much more space on CPU (at least you see the RAM and other components), yeah, depends on how you built it. The PC can “breath”. When I said “you need a lot of space” I mean on the CPU, if your RAM and 2 GPU is all near there… all the heat gets concentrated.
As I have more GPUs, inside the case it’s full of components and with a Noctua (if it even fills in) would be hard to “breath”. It’s not that difficult to understand…
Professor here: do this all you want. It’s not a page requirement, it’s a word requirement. And it’s a maximum, not a minimum. You have some tasks to accomplish in 1,000 words or less. Anything more than 1,000 words gets deleted or (if in hardcopy) crossed out/torn off and thrown away. I grade what’s left.
