The Grey with Liam Neeson!

Boogie Nights - Paul Thomas Anderson made it a point that the characters not make any significant growth during the course of the film. It’s a masterclass of largely lateral movement.

Happiness (1998) - one of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s best roles.

The Talented Mr. Ripley - another one of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s best roles.

The Banshees of Inisherin. I expected a comedy from the reviews, not something this dark.

Lauchs, in "The Mandalorian & Grogu", a new Star Wars film directed by Jon Favreau, will enter the production phase later this year.

They’ve been casting about for a movie that’ll work as the last few haven’t come close to expectations. Makes sense to leverage the most successful streaming show of all time (I think.)

MentallyExhausted,

With Favreu running it I’m confident it will be good

Like Boba and Mando S3 were good?

MentallyExhausted,

I liked both of them. Wasn’t fond of the vespa scooter gang, though.

Lauchs,

I mean, (uhhhh spoilers ahead) most of it sucked but Boba riding that Rancor brought childhood dreams to life as I’m pretty sure I made him do that a few times. Admittedly, he had a lightsabers in 7 year old me’s version but nothing’s perfect.

Sounds like a sad attempt on Disney’s part because they couldn’t come up with a fresh new movie and instead are cannibalizing characters that should be focused on the tv side of the company.

Really not interested to be honest. Which is a shame as I used to be a much bigger Star Wars fan.

The last film announcement that really excited me was the Rogue Squadron movie but sadly I think that’s effectively been cancelled.

Squizzy, in "The Mandalorian & Grogu", a new Star Wars film directed by Jon Favreau, will enter the production phase later this year.

Grogu is boring and played out, he should have been delivered to Jedi and that was it or been a single season character. Not that he is a character or anything at this stage.

God State Wars is so boring now, can’t wait to see what this movie sets up.

All of the new Star Wars movies are so boring and played out. They should just stop making them, but they won’t because they have to extract every single dollar from their IP.

It’s always something to look out for which projects interests Leo, even if you don’t particularly like him. His projects at least try to do something different and interesting from the usual types of movies.

craftyindividual,

Was pleasantly surprised with his performance in “Killers of The Flower Moon”, not a flattering character.

RedditWanderer, in Pixar will undergo significant layoffs in 2024.

Everybody will undergo significant layoffs in 2024.

FTFY.

They are done making bank on the pandemic benefits (during which they cried the whole time they were broke, and hired a record number of people)… now debt is expensive so time to socialize some losses.
