Hey there, I’ve been using for example abjects irc for some time now with great pleasure, but it’s kind of bothering me that I don’t find a way to automate it in some way… I wanted to try Overseerr and radarr, etc., but I noticed then, that those don’t support ircs/xdccs....

I am specifically searching for early (and new) episodes of the Community Service Radio show put on by The Crystal Method....

Ok so this one bugs me, older articles are occasionally in archives but for newer ones 12ft ladder etc dont really work anymore....

hi all, i saw a post (or perhaps it was in the comments) about 1-2 weeks ago of a website to download any youtube/vimeo/instagram/tiktok/whatever video/audio in many different formats. it was a FOSS website. dark background, with maybe red text in places? on mobile, it had tabs on the bottom for video/audio/other....

I mostly do everything on my phone and I’ve found cloudstream satisfies my needs with a surprisingly negligible amount of effort. Is there something very much like that but for audiobooks (and possibly ebooks)?

I don’t have a lot of HDD space so I only seed torrents that I download to ratio of 2. Recently I discovered Stremio and torrentio add on. It is nice and l like the simplicity, but isnt it only leeching? I couldn’t find anything in settings that would enable seeding. If it is only leeching idk if I want to use it.

I recently checked back on the PiratedGames subreddit after long while not being there. And I wonder what other people here think but in my opinion, the quality of the subreddit has gone downhill....

I am officially an old person, as I have subscribed to a magazine. It’s niche, but it’s been around a long time, and having enjoyed a lot of issues in my childhood that were given to me for free, I feel I should give back....

I’m happy to adopt a new podcast app if it has sponsorblock natively or through a plug-in. Otherwise let me know if there’s some other way to make it work. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as all of the segments tagged for skipping are crowdsourced which would also work for Podcasts.

And fuck. I really miss plex. I’ve had Netflix and Hulu forever as family won’t let me cancel. Decided to sign up to Paramount + for some Trek. Twice in lower decks it didn’t save my watched episodes. Doesn’t mark episode as watched if you exit during the credits. And multiple playback issues....

I tried fre:ac but got an error from cddb when trying to connect to the database. Looking to rip to both FLAC and to Opus. Ideally with the latest codec updates....

So I was looking into getting port forwarding set up and I realized just how closed-off the internet has gotten since the early days. It’s concerning. It used to be you would buy your own router and connect it to the internet, and that router would control port-forwarding and what-have-you....

I found almost everything imaginable on that site! But I can see it is missing some stuff. So I need to bring this to Piracy megathread’s attention on what else they need to add, but how do I contact them?
