I remember this page from a book I had growing up. What’s neat is the UCS Lego set of this has the blue seats. I forgot about this cutaway so I was wondering why they chose blue. Now it makes sense.
I can confirm that the game works with a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick and have played the game to 100% that way. Mind you, that was in 1999 on Windows 98.
I’ve not tried it with an Xbox controller since, but my (now rather old) Sidewinder still works with the version of Rogue Squadron I got from GOG. Make of this what you will!
Back on N64 there was this weird ass controller where most of the motion was done with your wrist. You strapped it to your forearm and your hand and then had buttons under your fingers. This game was the only thing I used it for and it was fucking amazing. I loved flying with that thing.
Then after two weeks the piece of shit broke and I never bought another one.
The original Thrawn trilogy is good, but I personally prefer the reboot trilogy by Zahn. That’s the character that we saw in Rebels, although he has a lot more depth in the books. His motivations for rising through the ranks of the Empire are not what you would expect them to be.
The second new trilogy goes into Thrawn’s youth and culture, and while I still enjoyed those three books as well, I think you basically have to love Thrawn’s character to get through them.
As a Star Wars fan since the 1980s, please sell me on why I should spend time watching this show. I have heard good things but haven’t got around to watching it yet. What makes this show among the best of Star Wars? If it is.
I’m not particularly a fan of the art style, but this show has the best iteration of it both in the graphics and designs.
The action is good and it feels like a very distilled iteration of many of the good things about The Clone Wars but to me it is fresher to follow along with the Bad Batch as opposed to Anakin and Obi-Wan.
It’s certainly not the best, but if you enjoyed the clone wars and the characters of the clones, it’s worth watching to see their story continued into the era of the Empire
this is the correct answer, you liked Clone Wars/Rebels, this is more of that on a more serious tone. You haven’'t watched CW/R? Probably you dont care about this
It shows the transition from Republic troops to Empire troops in real time as Palestine seizes control, and the animation is incredible. Probably the best looking animated Star Wars show so far.
