(Well, if I could buy a single banana maybe…or maybe that’s not the best...
Most farming gets subsidised. This is a good thing. You want excess in the system. You’ve seen what the free markets did to housing. You don’t want that happening to food.
The slavery-in-all-but-name isn’t such a good thing, but hey-ho.
Obviously I don’t want to diminish the suffering of Ukraine in any way at all. Ukraine has it much worse in many ways. But there are still people suffering in every country.
Yeah, I’ve got a self filling one. Nice to run a bath without even getting out of bed. Although if you forget to put the plug in first, you’ll arrive to an empty bath.
