I don’t think I’ve watched it since Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did Weekend Update and even then, I mostly just watched it for that part and TV’s Funhouse.
Please understand: I mean this in a very, very loving way. Lemmy has so much content and so many references that I do not understand but it’s awesome seeing all these passionate communities outside of my usual circles.
Oh they make it very clear what a magic cookie is earlier in the strip because it’s used for having hallucinations more than once. At one point, one of the characters eats one and another one crawls into his hallucination.
I can see that, but is it really worth running it as an OS other than for that specific use? Because if not, you can just run it in an emulator or on a partition when you need that.
I was a projectionist when that movie came out. As a consequence, there are parts of that movie that I watched and parts of the audio I couldn’t ignore dozens of times.
Sometimes that didn’t make me hate the movies that came out when I was a projectionist.
I guess it just means I’m not a big nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake guy because I’m Gen X and I didn’t like Ready Player One either. The book was marginal and the movie was awful. I’m not sure why I even watched the movie after reading the book. I guess mostly because of The Shining part, which, meh.
Sure, but as the episode itself showed, that didn’t happen on at least one planet that had a puzzle piece, so it was a very weird gamble to make.
I think The Inner Light has problems too, but that attempt at the idea of keeping the memory of a race of people that went extinct alive worked so much better.
I’ve had Indiana ditch weed. There’s basically no THC in it at all. But it’s useful to sell to other high school kids who aren’t aware of that and then think they’re high when they smoke it.
Like I thought. You don’t want it to end so you replied to me again. You can’t get over this idea that I just didn’t understand something. You are so fixed on this weird ‘tone’ idea of yours. Believe it or not, you can’t always accurately guess a person’s tone over text that way because, believe it or not, you can’t hear vocal inflections over text.
And this time it took a day to sync up.
Your instance is shit.
Looking forward to your next irate reply to sync up next Tuesday.

I wonder if that’s where they got the inspiration for the conservatory in the abandoned Chateau Picard in the 20th century in the second season of Picard? It looks really similar.
