The conceit, mostly. I dont mind a holiday dominating a month and spreading through most aspects of everyones lives, but Christmas itself hardly has anything to do with anyone I know. Id rather be celebrating making it through another year, or my friends and families successes, or even performing feats of strength instead of throwing a weird tree up and pretending a guerilla gift giving hermit appears for kids’ benefit.
