Ilflish, to comicstrips in "Millennial lingo" by Shen Comic

It’s the newspaper that is off-putting

Ilflish, to comicstrips in Yugioh Master Duel [MrLovenstein]

I always feel bad for TCG because the more you learn about them the less fun they are. I should be enjoying a variety of cards but instead I’m reducing the amount of luck and bad draws by just putting duplicates of every useful card to the max value I can

Ilflish, to baldurs_gate_3 in What To Never Say To Someone Coming Out (BG3 Edition)

Gale: “I was Gay too. So happy. Happy to be with my excellent lover, did I mention? The god Mystra? Yes we were lovers oh how we used to…”

Ilflish, to comicstrips in "Profitable Strategy" by Work Chronicles

“We made 1 billion in profit!”

“However we updated our estimates half way through the year to match our early growth and we did not meet our expectations”

“We’ll have to let you go”

This comment is from the type of person who will recoil at the sheer sight of a spider

Ilflish, (edited ) to comicstrips in "Choices" by J.L. Westover

I really hate to be that guy but I went from 10.5 to 8.5 hours average by regularly exercising. Hard to begin with since usually the issue is not enough time or being too tired but it is worth it. Took about 3 months or dailyish activity

Ilflish, (edited ) to comicstrips in Sleeping position

I bought a body pillow (without the anime girl) for the same but within days I was in immediate pain come mornings. It was probably just overstuffed but I went back to front sleeping and it immediately disappeared

Forgot to add what I went to. It was 10.5 to 8.5 not 10 to 5

Ilflish, to food in How to get into the habit of cooking >1 portions?

I’m approaching this as a “stupid brain won’t do what I want” situation as I used to eat the double portion also. My work around was to cook out of sync to what I ate. This meant I didn’t need to worry about what I was eating “now” because everything I cooked was for later. So as an example, I would cook some chilli, but that day I would be eating some curry that was already sitting in the fridge. If you are wondering how to start the cycle, the simplest solution to avoid your cravings messing it up is to cook and then order takeout somewhere so you don’t eat it any of it.

It could be that the improvising is getting in the way. Does this mean you don’t know what to cook until you do?

Ilflish, to asklemmy in What's some amazing technology they have in Japan that's very normal to them but would blow our minds here in the US and western world?

Well can’t fault honesty

Ilflish, to comicstrips in "Time Will Tell" by Mr. Lovenstein

We all have the same amount of time but not everyone can afford to spend money to maximize the time on what they desire

Ilflish, to asklemmy in Which YouTuber's voice can lull you to sleep?

Northernlion, specifically his non-twitch content. I also enjoy his twitch content but he goes reaction mode for it and it’s not the same rhythm

Ilflish, to comicstrips in "Understanding Motives" by Work Chronicles

You can definitely analyze a graph/chart, but unless you need help understanding a more complex representation, there’s not much you can argue with. Even if you know of a bias in it, they can just make up something about avoiding another bias or increasing focus on an area

Ilflish, (edited ) to comicstrips in A fish out of water

If you told me this was fanart of Ecco the Dolphin, I would accept it.

Ilflish, to piracy in What is the motive behind private trackers?

I’m not going to be as positive as the others. For every person who seeds everything there are those doing the bare minimum. But they will do the bare minimum because they’re in a good ecosphere of rarities that are seeded and don’t want to lose that benefit
