In the eyes of progressives, conservative politicians undermine the dignity of minorities. You might not agree with that, you might not care about that, you might simply value other things more.

This is what you said. In the eyes of progressives, that is how they see conservatives. In no way, shape, or form does his response to that statement have anything to do with the minoroties, but in the agreement that progressives see conservatives that way.

I’m totally not interested in the stories much at all anymore. Video game story-telling has always been pretty cringe, but as a kid and teen I didn’t think so. Go back and play some games I genuinely liked the story for back in the day and I can’t stand them now. I prefer games that are just fun to play. Most popular games these days are simply not fun to play. They are entirely focused on their storytelling and use light gimmicks or have repetitive gameplay that gets boring well before the story finishes, making it a chore just to hear the story.

Which sequels/prequels/spinoffs made the originals somehow worse?

The Matrix is an often used example, but for me it’s the Alien Prequels - especially Alien: Covenant really makes the Original Alien much worse. When the original was released in 1979 it had the perfect Monster. A dangerous killing machine of unknown origin. The missing background of the alien is a big part of its scary mess....
