Man streaming services are even now making it hard to watch their content in 4k so yeah like, I’ve stopped expecting to see others ripping at that resolution, and will mostly only seek it out if it’s something that deserves to be watched in 4k.
People have to feel funded, safe, and comfortable to make stuff for free to share with others, right now everyone feels like they need to make the absolute most money possible.
What will make a more neutral internet is a better world. Our virtual one and our real one are pretty interlinked and one can not be poisoned without it spreading to the other.
LoL I remember in the early 2010s a porn comic that actually did this and people were shocked because it seemed like a lot of work for a small niche thing.
And then we realized that converting to a png and then back to jpg killed the identifier. But the system was in place and I have seen so many versions of and workarounds for it. Someone even had a custom clipper software that just looked for the excess identifier data on the end of the file and would trim it.
I think it’s wise to always think they might be doing this kind of stuff, especially big companies, but breaking it is pretty easy usually even by accident.
Well definitely limiting if you go specifically gay teen.
But they made a somewhat big deal about having a Gay Ellen DeGeneres, in finding Dory but didn’t specifically push that the character was gonna show gay representation.
But man they really pushed the narrative that they would have an openly gay character in the live action Beauty & the Best movie which ended up being a 15 seconds site gag about cross dressing and dancing… so that was dumb.
Then they bragged about having gay representation in an Avengers movie which ended up being an unnamed character saying he dated a guy once in a blink and you miss it sad scene at the top of the movie… and Marvel is Disney.
Then I remember them bragging about gay representation in Onward but I actually don’t remember there being any like at all. Seriously, they talked about how they would include representing everyone and then the movie was a mess of just fairytale knockoff representation everywhere and I can point out practically no specifics.
Let’s see then they made a bunch of live action stuff that actually had real gay representation but eternals sucked and cruella it’s definitely just a side character but hey whatever.
Then they bragged about light-year I think which I didn’t watch so who knows how good that was.
And that brings us to “the first openly gay character” which was the only advertising point for this movie I saw after a fantastic trailer giving such a great 1930s vibe and nothing else.
So yeah I guess that’s practically none of you consider how pathetic the early attempts were nothing.
Because you don’t have to do it twice a day. We live in a society of people with lots of skills so having others that handle the cooking and you handle some other important beneficial task would be fine.
And then to fill space between wanting to eat what everyone else is having, using preserved or easy to eat items at home would fill the gap. That would be a rational society though. But we all need to be individually independent.
Oh my God fuck cinnamon rolls and I love them. If any recipe involves a suggestion for getting unscented non waxed floss just to cut the shapes something is wrong with the level of effort they expect from me.
Yeah well you live on a small island that doesnt have much physical resources and has weird wildlife like murder lizards and glow in the dark jellyfish washing up on your beaches and see how your civilization turns out. LoL
Province makes me think you are in Canada, i will say it gets worse the further south you go and i think it’s a heat and humid air in tue big warehouse where everything is kept all together kinda thing. Further north it gets better in the winter and worse in the summer again but i cant escape the bagels getting moldy within like 3 days of buying them and veggies being limp amd rotting within a similar time depending on which ones i got.
Sure, that’s a great scale if the goal of it is “What should I wear for the climate” and could be fully functional to that purpose with hundreds of degrees of the scale.
What we base scales on are entirely arbitrary and meant to be there for a purpose. If that purpose is clothing than it’s succeeding at it’s job.
The Fahrenheit scale is just based on a person saying that’s what they felt like was absolutely cold and what was hot based on personal feelings and marking thermometers which ones on the market often didn’t even match each other. It was for the people as an emotional barometer to the temp. Celsius is definitely a scientist one which picked a standard but why water? They could have picked so many elements or compounds but had to specify what ocean’s water because they aren’t all equal. It’s all arbitrary. Dance in the nonsense.
