LinkOpensChest_wav,

I’d call a horseologist and tell them to get over here right away, there’s no time to explain

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Getting that fully immersive exposure to Japanese culture

LinkOpensChest_wav,

I’ll provide the full works cited once I finish my paper. Atm I’m just commenting in a shitpost community.

I do feel confident I’m right, though. Cannabis has known benefits for certain conditions, which is why you can get a prescription.

As for you, I hope you don’t drink caffeine, which is far more addictive and harmful than THC.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Bad take, considering how helpful cannabis can be to those who use it, how little evidence there is to show that it drastically increases one’s risk of heart disease, and how many substances we consume with far worse side effects (e.g., SSRIs, aspirin, acetaminophen, etc.)

On the other hand, alcohol has no benefits when taken internally.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Just think, if it hadn’t been for Harry Anslinger, we wouldn’t have this meme!

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Yes, this is John Dennys, CEO

ActuallyI’m joking, I don’t really know but I think he’s a comedian

LinkOpensChest_wav,

I’m similar to your kid. I have celiac and also severe lactose intolerance. Fortunately, a lot of candy is free of most allergens. For example, Sour Patch kids and Laffy Taffy. (Not sure if it’s vegan though.) I also had a nephew with a peanut allergy, so I try to read labels when I buy Halloween candy (though this year I decided to reverse trick or treat the houses on my block with kids and then turn the lights off, since kids don’t really go out anymore like they used to.)

LinkOpensChest_wav,

That’s a reeeeaaaal stretch, and I think you know it lol

Seems to me more likely that OP is supporting veganism

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Same. A lot of the nice little people in my phone, I met on RiF

LinkOpensChest_wav,

I find it takes no energy to hate him, so I’ll continue doing so; but I agree that prison violence should not be glorified, under any circumstances, no matter who is the target. I don’t care about Chauvin’s wellbeing, but prison violence is yet another symptom of the same systemic issue that caused Chauvin to murder Floyd. ACAB, and so is the entire “justice” system.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Not all of us are obese, and the obesity epidemic has more to do with daily overconsumption of calories from things like soda and other sugared beverages than it does with eating cool whip on your pumpkin pie once a year

No, this is not an all the same thing, and you are unhinged if you think it is. The entire Republican platform is anti-human/anti-progress, and if you align with it in any way, for any reason, you have gone out of your way to be a piece of shit.

There’s no such thing as being a Republican and simultaneously being a good person. These things are not compatible, and certainly not comparable at all to something like race or ethnicity, such as being Jewish.

Edit: If you are arguing that Republicans have the potential to be good people, then this is absolutely true, but it would necessitate ceasing to be a Republican, which they can choose to do at any time.

“Some of the Nazis were good people” – Get the fuck out

LinkOpensChest_wav,

They might be polite to a fault, but they’re still not good. I agree.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

One of the best things I’ve done is to uncheck “show bot accounts” in settings.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

I’m not qualified to engage in your discussion, nor do I have a good experience trusting random internet strangers who say they’re certain things, but here’s Kropotkin’s book for anyone who wants to read it: theanarchistlibrary.org/…/petr-kropotkin-mutual-a…

Might tell the rest of the story.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Because most of us dislike violence, even when it’s necessary and justified.

Meanwhile, the rich have no problem using violence against us to protect their hoarded wealth or if they can profit from it in the slightest.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Ok and we shouldn’t be willing to tolerate someone believing LGBT+ is dirty or sinful. That’s a belief that causes much harm. Imagine a trans child having to grow up in a home with parents who tell them it is a sin. LGBTphobia leads to abuse, all the time, so we should not tolerate it.

Saying we should simply compromise is some blind privilege if I’ve ever seen it.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

This discord thing looks promising. Maybe it will get popular.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

I think government only works when it has the power to militarily dominate any competing force.

I’ll take Yikes! for 100, Alex

LinkOpensChest_wav,

Maybe you just haven’t found the right recipes

LinkOpensChest_wav,

I live in a ranching state (South Dakota) where beef is processed locally, and it’s nearly impossible to get grass-fed meat. Sure, some of it is labeled “grass-fed” with a drastically higher price point (unsustainable for most people), but the whole industry is so corrupt and ethically bankrupt that it’s a meaningless label, just like almost anything else you buy here.

LinkOpensChest_wav,

It’s a good video that addresses a lot of misconceptions. I do believe I’m an introvert, but I also see a lot of people greatly misunderstanding introversion/extroversion.

One part of the video that really hit home for me is the part where he talks about having a purpose. I can speak in front of large crowds because I’m there with a defined purpose, whereas I’ve never gotten used to small talk. This became really obvious back when I was in a band. People would talk to me after the show at the table and assume I was the same person I was during our performance, whereas in a way that was just a role I played, but it was comfortable for me because I was there with a purpose. It’s not this alone that defines introversion/extroversion, but I feel like a lot of people could benefit from understanding this. It’s why most of the friends I make are centered around shared hobbies and interests.

I usually don’t click YouTube links, but this was good.

The moral fortitude of most pro sports fans is abysmally low, so that tracks with my expectations
