If you don't wanna partake in illegals ie opioids, you can give immodium a shot. It's anti diarrhea stuff. Just take more than it says lol it will def stop you up. I would also just eat bare minimum. Trail mix or smth. Also drink less water.

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

(: I can live with that. I'd only be able to use it in emergencies I suppose.

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

OK I get. How about if it's not random, but the amount of force I need to use is dependent on where I take it from, according to importance to normal bodily function.

Like if I wanna make a leaf fall off a branch, it's my finger nail, and I can sort of, as a baked in part of the power, decide where I gets taken from as long as it meets the required energy?

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

So in a way...I kind of already have this super power! Lmao

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

Oh I know it's OP. I've actually thought alot about this specific power. That's why I said it lol. Like Fujitora from one piece. 🐐

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

Yep!

FMA is my absolute favorite Shonen btw. It's a masterpiece, imo.

One piece just holds a special place in my heart yknow, so it's my favorite by default. Lol

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

I will be sure to use it wisely, and justly.

Oh man I need to watch the original anime! Know a good place I can watch it actually? I literally LOVE fmab haha. And would love to check that one out.

Also.. I'd say to you, and look, I'm sort of picky about these things, as we all are...watch the first half, then switch to Manga. Or just read the Manga from beginning.

I got into one piece without knowing ANYTHING about it so I'm super lucky and grateful.

It's got its flaws, but it's sort of apart of the style. It feels very stream of conscious and home brewed. I absolutely love it to death.

It helps that I started it during a pretty rough patch so it's like a comforting thing for me.

I think ultimately, it's worth it, and the length shouldn't be a barrier. It's just more content and I love the story. It's endearing. OK enough proselytizing. Lol

That's cause over time people have added communities to your instances repitoire over time. Network effect, essentially, making it easier for each new user. Tbh, if new users are on a bigger instance this should be a non issue.

Scrip is kinda low key a thing again. My SO works for wawa and there is definitely some scrip vibe. They have a company store, a points reward system, they will put you through school if you take classes that benefit the Corp, and the only way to move up is to basically bootlick management at weird company festivals.

It all has this very dystopian vibe of “everything within the corporation eco system” and my SO is a very principled women who is shy and kind and she refuses to take a step to elevate herself within the Corp, but getting a union going is pretty hard where we’re at, everyone is very much of the boot tasting, welfare queen bad variety.

8000 a year? That would be a huge help. Like it would alleviate almost all of my burdens.

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

I kinda like how it is now.

Yea but karma is kind of the main cause of spam at a certain point.

There's nothing to gain by spamming here when there's no karma, and your content is trash.

My father just introduced me to the joy of putting banana peppers on my slices. I don't really like peppers ftmp, but damn is it good on just a plain slice.

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

I never even heard of reddit when I was introduced to rif. Only reddit I know. I didn't really try others, didn't need to. It was perfectly simple. Thank you and now on to new and better things, hopefully

What music genre or artist changed your life?
Like, actually influenced your life going forward?

MiddleWeigh, (edited )
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

Punk > indie > hip hop > jazz, roots, Americana, > all

I play music and I love almost all music styles as long as there is a weighty performance and evokes the human spirit.

There is just something about creation itself that I find beautiful, and there is no one genre or artist that changed my perspective.

If there was it'd be this band Subtle. That informed a lot of my ideas on what good art even means.

My favorite guitar player is Richard Thompson.

I have a bunch of fav drummers, buy anyone who's got soul is worth a listen.

I think that's the point. There is no best, there is only you.

I think poetry changed my musical identity more than music itself.

Where is the room exactly? In a house? Palace? What now?

Hiding in plain sight is usually the best way to go about hiding (ime).

But plenty of people know about it...hmm

The room could just be closed off and unaccesible and unnoticeable at the same time..like a hobbit hole with no doors etc.

I'd love more context tbh....and do you write books often?

Human feces/raw sewage in a stagnant, humid, concrete structure with poor circulation and no means of escape.

Also my dad has this little puss hole on his back that you can perpetually squeeze the most foul smelling stuff out of. It was a family event to squeeze in wonder.

Good job on doing what you felt. It is obvious, but those have become the hardest things these days.

I haven't had a problem ftmp. I sort by all>new/top day/hot/active and subscribe to what interests me on a whim.

Then if there is something specific, say poetry, I type "poetry" or "poet" in to the search and I get all the communities with that in the name. Subscribe. All of em.

Over time I naturally have a feed of my own making.

But right now, I am just sorting all and collecting communities and talking to people, and when finally there is more people, I will sort by subscribed.

I think the issue is just early stage social media being built ground up, and we're all still figuring out what this place is even gonna be.

I didn't know anything. I clicked a random link on reddit tbh. I just been picking away and enjoying it.

I guess the one thing would be what the actual difference between kbin and lemmy is. Other than that, it's pretty straightforward imo.

What is something good happening in your city/town/local area?

My city redesign our downtown roads to have a whole bunch of horrible one ways in the 50s, and we are FINALLY changing back to how it was while making improvements like bike lanes. The first attempt at bike lanes with the current layout was horrible, basically death traps everywhere... Hoping for something better this time, lol....

A tractor supply just went up. It's a glorified hardware store. Great. Just slightly better than ace hardware 🥱.

They might potentially take a state recreational area and turn it into national park which im unsure of tbh. There's no infrastructure, they'd charge (barrier), more people to kinda ruin what pristine woodland we even have.

I'm sort of indifferent about it, undecided at least, and it depends how or if it goes down at all.

Otherwise, ain't shit happening here and that's why I live here.

MiddleWeigh,

Yea each paint is different. Even different colors can be slightly different.

I think you just have to paint lots and lots of clouds tbh.

I am OK at painting, like I know the process, and used to be pretty into it, but I am out of the loop, sorry.

Painting is very tactile. There's little separation between you and the medium. You just have to do it a bunch yknow.

Just thought I'd pop in.

MiddleWeigh,
@MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world avatar

I haven't painted in a long time..but perhaps like a gouache, or just get really good at dry brushing?

I think the thing your avoiding is the thing you should learn. Consistency = skill.

Learn the touch yknow.
