I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds
Especially when there are a few examples of amazing actors that you can know and still sometimes struggle to recognize them in their characters. Like Gary Oldman, and … uh… OK well I’m not in a movie headspace, but he’s not the only one!
Tons of lesser names that play great side/background characters and it’s hard to tell, too, so I totally agree others need chances at lead characters.
Those are the actors I’m never tired of because their characters are almost always unique characters.
They aren’t confusing the terms. It’s just that “libertarians” in the US are largely viewed as right-wing anti-authority, whereas on the global stage, they’re kindof like normal anarchist-lite. If you say, “well that’s not very specific”, then yes that’s correct.
Not if I turn it off because I don’t want my phone analyzing everything I do. I don’t need a spy in my pocket. Especially true for voice assistants.
I type better than the fucking autocorrect corrects anyways, so I’ll take typos that are easy to spot over “corrected” words that are grammatically wrong and harder to spot every time.
Seriously why I turn off autocorrect. 80% of the time, the autocorrection is worse than submitting a damn normal typo. It’s bad enough when it’s only trying to correct spelling. All the autopunctuation and junk is just pure suffering… I hate a one-character typo turning in to erasing a whole-ass wrong word with extra capitalization that’s not even supposed to be there just because I hit spacebar before noticing.
I mean, he was also a Jedi, so separating kids from their parents is pretty par for the course. Maybe they were simply sent off to Empire training camp boarding school.
Kinda’ looks like it was pushing its back backward against the plastic wall and the extra top popped off, suddenly offering no support, so the cat and the top tumbled over out the box.
Why it’d put so much weight outward is a whole damn question, though… The before picture was probably funny, too.
In my case, this was literally in person to my face from a coworker with little media analysis skill. I never even made unclear statements beyond, “I don’t like Rey”, with further explanation about how her character development is highly lacking. Not the actress or anything like that, even.
Don’t be the equivalently stupid person on the other side of the coin, constantly refusing to admit that those internet weirdos are actual people in the real world somewhere.
Eh, while it’s not as common as other political psychosis, I have directly been told, “you just don’t like strong women.” to my face, for saying I didn’t like how they utterly failed to develop Rey as a character in the new Star Wars trilogy and the movies suck over all.
Apparently wanting good, cohesive writing where main characters actually have lessons to learn and growth to do makes me a sexist to them, all because I can point to Luke, a guy, failing a bunch?
They also understand social order and merc crows that are excessively rude thieves and whatnot. It’s a bit brutal but it’s indicative of individual identity and longer term memory.
Same, but the mere demand for attention was enough. Now, if I see an ad, I’ll make a script sit there and spend five minutes force-loading their pages to eat their bandwidth right back. They will lose money for every ad I see. Fuck them all.
Didn’t YouTube literally do this with the question ads a few years ago? That’s when I decided I would NEVER be nice to advertisers. They’re selling my time for money, not giving me the money, and now they’re rude about it. 110% fuuuuuuck them.
They were covering up the news about the ocean srreams possibly dying by 2025. They did it to cover up the news that they’re officially destroying the planet.
Yea, I just mean light sabers have a heat component to some weird degree. How ever that interacts with Wolverine or his adamantium is indeed a whole other thing. lol
I definitely agree adamantium should be able to stop a light saber whether or not it gets heated by continued blocking. I think at some point, Wolverine wouldn’t much like trying to live with a heated skeleton. But I mean, isn’t that also how the adamantium got there? Seems like he’d survive extended exposure either way, too.
Nah, the heat thing they’re shown melting through blast doors. It at least happens pretty early on in Phantom Menace, and pretty sure I saw it happen in some Disney SW somewhere, too.
Nah, that’s the thing with mental disorders and other things: They’re usually just an imbalance of otherwise normal behaviors/moods/etc. Most people should be able to relate to most mental disorders.
They just shouldn’t do the, “lol I’m so OCD!” thing, because that trivializes how nasty the real disorders get. The people with the disorders don’t just have flashes of silly desires or emotions (usually), but rather a literally debilitating to normal daily life disorder that no one would want to deal with.
What is your unpopular flim opinion
