Ah, gotcha. I tried learning Bayesian probability once and failed utterly. One of the only classes I just barely passed (stat was the other). My brain just barely computes it.
Did hobbits exist then? Even if they did, they aren't the type of people to want a ring of power. At best it'd make their pumpkins grow huge and they're feet extra hairy.
“Since a regulation-size football weighs 14 ounces, it was considered feasible to make a shaped charge grenade within this weight limitation. In addition, most US troops are familiar with throwing footballs,” according to the Army’s test report for the weapon....
So what's the average distance a 20-something man could accurately throw a football thats, let's guess, 10x heavier? And throw it accurately up to +/- 5 ft? And then let's ask what the lethal or shrapnel radius is of this anti-armor grenade. Also what the lethal radius of exploding armored vehicles is?
I leave the comparing as an exercise for the reader.
That'd be fine, though? Not an OS expert but if you move it, the computer knows where it goes any can pause and read/writes and utilize RAM for it's in-use version. But if it tries the same thing when you deleted it, it's going to have nowhere to put the results of whatever it's doing. Also if the computer is just reading a file, it may assume you might not want to delete it.
Don't think about individual photons. Think about billions of them with destructive and constructive interference. The probabilities of all the sitting l additive waves of light.
How is this series? I only glanced at the spoiler but some of the last bit was...a lot. Do most of the books receive that trigger warning or is that more of a endgame thing?
I didn't see mot of those episodes, but from perusing Memory Alpha, I didn't see anything about White besides it was used to keep the Jem-Hadar soldiers working. Did it have a drug-like effect in non-Jem-Hadar? Or has White just ascended into pure meme status?
Barack Obama in which the Asian man is compared to a yellow bear, and the black man is compared to an African cat named “Tigger”. If you saw people calling Obama “Tigger” (or “a tigger”, so be a bit less subtle about it) as an epithet, I seriously doubt you’d be willing to accept claims of ignorance,
You do it to identify yourself to other American liberals as a consumer of John Oliver or Stephen Colbert’s TV shows. I think it’s petty and stupid to substitute fandom for politics, but at the end of the day, correcting you on that isn’t terribly important to me
And yet you still do it.
I’m no expert, but by all accounts he seems to be a pretty boring guy that says pretty normal generic shit about development, stability, and cooperation.
He can be the nicest dude ever but he leads a control with an iron-grip on speech and media consumption, which is anathema to most english-speaking countries. Also you know, the genocide.
constructed through your consumption of English language capitalist media.
Aaaaand there we go. Tankie talking points.
toward the end of justifying a nuclear war
Scare tactics! If you knew the first thing of geopolitics, you'd know this would never, ever happen. If russia isn't going to lob nukes when it's getting its ass handed to it, China won't have a reason to.
This whole little diatribe is full of inaccuracies, huge ass-pulls and insinuations that are so wild as to be ridiculous. And as soon as you actually get a little specific, you throw your entire argument away.
Is it racist? Or is it mocking someone among others and delighting in the known fact that it makes a deplorable person upset? Same thing with mocking Trump for small hands.
I think it's so you get centered as much as possible so you can reach the conveyor on the first try. When cars were more standardized in width. And so they don't waste space.
You're lucky. I watch my wife play save npc moment in conversation is an almost constant bug fest. NPCs love to stagger step away while not facing you while talking.
...wtf? If a person has declared bankruptsy, sure they can't discharge again but their credit score is so trash they could just ignore creditors. As long as it isn't worth it to take someone to court, they have less incentive to pay.
They were referring to the comma. Commonly used with a verbal pause. So like: "It's not...though?" As if the "though?" was its own thought and the only part of the sentence that had the question inflection.
Seismologist Susan Hough has suggested that a magnitude 10 quake may represent a very approximate upper limit for what the Earth's tectonic zones are capable of, which would be the result of the largest known continuous belt of faults rupturing together (along the Pacific coast of the Americas).[17] A research at the Tohoku University in Japan found that a magnitude 10 earthquake was theoretically possible if a combined 3,000 kilometres (1,900 mi) of faults from the Japan Trench to the Kuril–Kamchatka Trench ruptured together and moved by 60 metres (200 ft) (or if a similar large-scale rupture occurred elsewhere). Such an earthquake would cause ground motions for up to an hour, with tsunamis hitting shores while the ground is still shaking, and if this kind of earthquake occurred, it would probably be a 1-in-10,000-year event.[18]
So a 10 could be like, if California decides to finally go walkabout. Physically possible, but the sheer amount of movement a part of the crust would need to experience is very unlikely and therefore a scale measuring that or above isn't needed.
