What can the US do to help Mexico finally stop the cartels?

Politicians constantly talk about stopping the illegal immigrants that are coming from Mexico, but putting a wall has never and will never be a solution since the reason why so many displaced keep coming across the border is mostly to escape the crime, corruption, inequality, and violence of they have to live in their home...

But you have to put the money into the treatment. Oregon isn’t quite doing that yet, and the lag between legalizing the drugs and actually increasing services has been pretty bad for everyone involved.

Hopefully we get it straightened out in the next year or two.

I’ve seen brilliant’s website and I like the fact that they make have alot of interactive visually engaging content but I don’t know if it’s worth the price or if there is any free possibly non profit version available that is just as interactive and visually engaging way to learn different math and science topics that...

Maybe it’s a bigger person thing to be so cognizant of our walking noise. But I deliberately walk a bit different around my apartment to make less noise and be courteous to my neighbors below.

My confrontation avoidance is pathetic, I’m working on it in therapy along w my generalized anxiety and other things.

But on the other hand, loud neighbors is a common issue in apartments, whether intentional or not… and idk, I just automatically try not to make a shit load of noise out of courtesy. Though, I’ve just recently learned that that behavior may be a byproduct of anxiety.

Also, it’s not as if I named and shamed them. There’s virtually no details about them at all.

Ironically, my wife who is half my weight walks louder than I do.

I’ve lived in 3 other apartments without this particular issue, noise yes, but not like this. Also, it’s not just walking… they literally don’t stop moving for hours straight. It kinda sounds like they are walking laps around the entire perimeter of the apartment, we have the same floorplan and I can clearly hear them moving from room to room to room. I’m honestly curious what they could be doing.

What is your unpopular flim opinion

I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds

I think if more people took that path, pirate only when you actually have a problem, much less content would be cracked and piratable.

Imagine OP and someone who is capable of cracking a software both bought and used this app, then 3 years later the app stops working. OP goes to look for a crack, but one doesn’t exist because the person who would have made it happened to stop using it before they had a need to crack it. So now OP is just boned.

So I say, always pirate everything and do so asap. And then obviously, if you want things to keep being produced, you should probably support the creators.

Believe it or not, silly jokes like that contribute to a stigma that drives people away from the most effective known treatment for ADHD.

Edit: And despite what some might say, ADHD is actually vastly underdiagnosed and undertreated compared to its actual prevalence in the population.

I married my highschool girlfriend, so I’m definitely not in the know about the dating scene… but this sounds very incel-y to me.

If you’re objectively getting this kind of response, it may be that you’re pursuing the wrong type of person, or you should work on your approach. Every person is an individual, you gotta treat each person as an individual.

It’s cool my man, just find a partner with a similar sex drive or be open to atypical relationships. My wife has a fairly low sex drive, and mine’s not crazy but the disparity can be rough.

There’s almost certainly groups of people who feel like you do online, so if you want to, I’m sure you can find a place that feels super accepting.

But yeah, toxic masculinity/patriarchy is a bitch.
