I really hate the social media discussion about this. And the comments in the past teached me, there are two different ways of learning math in the world.
Wondering how much of the Lemmy user base wouldn’t use an adblocker. If you do use one what other blocking do you use to circumvent data collection, YouTube and reddit front ends and things alike?
I liked the sd-card feature, too. But nowadays my android has 128 GB and I never got more data than 25% on it. Because I sync and remove everything to the cloud. Idk what I could put on a sd-card.
Remember, it’s a cloud messenger, not a secure messenger. It’s cool to have all chats on every device, but by default, they are unencrypted. I message there, too, but only nonsense.
It’s very effective for sysadmins if you want to get real time notifications about server stats. The possibility are endless because you could push everything with curl from commandline or cron. For example why not get informations about SSH login attempts or CPU usage or unattended upgrade logs?
Millennials are split into the older and the younger ones. I am one of the older ones, and I don’t know what the heck is going on with the younger ones.
I am having problems reaching Tuta through Mull on my Android (Mull 120.0.0, downloaded from f-Droid). Checking, I saw that Fennec is version 120.1.0....
The problem is, people dig to deep into excel functions, some of them could easily build a database or do some programming (if/else), but they know nothing outside of their ms-office -ecosystem.
Just a hint for ms-office devs, why not a low-code-builder with SQL backend. Just call it squirrel or powersql or something.
Ancient wisdom often sounds like common sense now that it is commomly taught. What is some ancient wisdom that we no longer teach because it was wrong?
