You forget that the killing of corrupt nobles was the norm until the last couple centuries.

Also I love this notion that humans have become “better” than our ancestors when all evidence points towards to that just being false.

Humans are just as brutal and violent and stupid as ever. The only difference now is we have the resources and luxuries (depending on where on earth you live you might not even have that) that distract us enough to not kill each other over them. If you really think we wouldn’t immediately devolve into tribalism the minute those resources become scarce you’re fooling yourself.

Fahrenheit is based on how the human body tells temperature and I’ll die on that hill.

Celsius is for water and Kelvin is for molecules.

Using Celsius or Kelvin for scientific measurement makes sense.

Using fahrenheit for the average person just checking the atmospheric temperature makes sense.

You mistake invulnerability with immortality.

An immortal can still die they just aren’t effected by time.

Invulnerability would mean you can still die of age but your body is physically invincible.

I think the funniest part about cuckoo’s is that they can’t be bothered to parent their offspring but some will still hang around just to make sure the host is taking care of the cuckoo’s chicks.

Like if the host bird notices the cuckoo chick and tries to not feed it the cuckoo will harass the host bird and try to kill the other chicks.
