I have rewatched Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann twice since I originally watched it in 2014, and it held up.

I also occasionally watch the final fight of the Lagann-hen movie on YouTube and it still holds up.

Roshar is very cool, but I think I prefer Scadrial. Maybe that’s because I feel like I understand the history of that world a bit more. Plus Allomancy is really cool, but not as cool as Surgebinding.

I agree. It feels like it’s setting up a lot of future works, especially with the way magic worked for the main antagonist.

Man as someone with a kid who is both allergic to dairy and gluten this just makes me sad.

My kid has real dietary needs, and I try not to burden whoever is handing out free candy for n Halloween with this.

My wife and I have taught my kid to be thankful to everyone, even if they can’t eat that particular candy when we do an allergen check later that night.

I read several of the Rogue Squadron books while on a long vacation and enjoyed them a lot, but they weren’t anything life changing.

Anyone else feels like they want to destroy their old sim and never give their contact to anyone ever again?

If signal gets the new username feature, this just might be what i do, so fricking tired of people just blindly giving random apps and websites their contact permissions and they get my contact as well, and there’s nothing i can do about it

I recall setting up a Google Voice number for fielding calls from recruiters and the like, but that’s likely not the best method for privacy since it’s through Google.

I had a lot of fun with Scarlet honestly. It ran like dogshit but the actual game itself was pretty fun.

I mostly just wish the game looked more like something that came out in 2022 and not 2005.
