Not sur if you’re joking but anyway take it easy bud. Things get better over time, dont let bad things and people get the best of you, they are not worth it.
Mine is Strawberry since it has a ton of options and plays a ton of formats. It’s also (distant) fork of Amarok 1.4 and integrates well with KDE Plasma. I’m curious what other people are using these days. What’s your favorite player?
I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that spotify sucks, they hate artists but love Joe Rogan. If you can’t buy albums via bandcamp, Tidal offers quality and royalties far superior to Spottily. You can transfer your playlist in a few clicks and the price is almost identical (6 accounts for like $15/m).
hi, I’ve been pretty happy with macOS recently on my m1 MacBook, really only because I’ve been paying for software from awesome devs who make great apps (plenty are open source, so most I use are not paid) and I’ve found my productivity increase like a lot....
I’ve installed Asahi Fedora remix on my 2021 M1 last week. Most things works fine now: speakers, HDMi (no video output with usbc yet), wifi, bluetooth, etc. It comes with KDE, it’s great but requires a lot of tweaks compare to Gnome imo. Overall it’s really stable, install was easy, and switching from MacOs to Linux is a little long but works fine. For me, the only issue so far is that it cant fully use the power of the GPU. I got a 32 core GPU so video editing is crazy fast on macOS. I know they are working on updating the driver. If I could get like 80% of the power I get on macOs, I probably would be using Linux 95% of the time.
Announced in early August and initially planned for the end of the month, the Fedora Asahi Remix distribution is finally here for those who want to install the Fedora Linux operating system on their Apple Silicon Macs....
This is great!! I use macOS for work but I’m sure I can get 90% of the work done on Linux now! Just wondering about GPU perfomance? Video editing is crazy fast on macOS, anyone tried on Asahi?
I’m amaze by how many people still use chrome based browser. They really want to get their face eat by a leopard. Well we told you people, there’s no reason left not to use firefox.
Linux noob here. Why do people refuse to use the proprietary driver? I did not had any seriousl issue with my 2080ti on Nobara. I can game and edit videos with better performances than in windows with same pc
One time, when I had to use outlook, someone called me asking why I wasn’t replying to emails since like 3 days. Turned out Outlook had decided I could receive emails, but when I was replying, the email would put in a special folder “to be sent” or something, because the MS outgoing server was not working. I looked like a fucking imbecile when I figured it out and tried to explain what happened.
We are REQUIRED to use outlook at my job, along with all the MS bullshit. I’ve changed my Thunderbird interface to make it look exactly like outlook, synced my calendars, and kept using it for the past year or so. They have no clue. I hate Microsoft with passion, I will spent hours of my free time to find ways to be out of their ecosystem if I need to, and I usually manage to do so.
The thing I hate the most about my province (Quebec), the passion people have for pickup trucks. It’s a fucking obsession, and it’s a subject that cant even be discussed, the right of owning one of those is almost the first article of our constitution.
So…? Do you NEED a car? I didnt had a car until 34 because I didnt need one. The only reason I got one was because I moved in a different city and kind of had no choice. But I had many many bikes.
