I feel like Emacs is going to suffer with the prevalence of window managers that are shortcut heavy. I looked at learning Emacs but the keyboard shortcuts all interfere with Awesome so it’s a nightmare. The only way I’d manage is by switching TTY to terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F-key which kinda ruins it!
I heard from others that it’s an invasion. So massed regiments of Mexican children invading the border. That’s why the National Guard are involved. To beat back the masses of child soldiers.
It’s a very rough guide I threw together. There’s all sorts of wedge cases you could use to argue against it. E.g. you could use RPMs on slack Linux. Not exactly user friendly.
Bit on the whole fedora or Suse do the job.
Also desktops are better for newbies. I thought I’d mentioned that but yeah I agree deffo better for newbies while WM managers more for tinkerers/power users.
Can you explain why? I installed Flagfox and it’s interesting especially cos I used to be a web dev but I don’t get why you’d really need to have it? No offence I just wanna know if I’m missing some hidden feature! 😂
