I used to use Google Domains, but then they sold that off to Squarespace.

Now I just use Cloudflare directly lol which also includes their free services, which is quite the value IMO

I looked into getting a pilots license and a plane once thinking maybe it would be more fun than flying commercial.

The license to fly just a dinky Cessna would be expensive af and I would only be able to afford a Cessna from 1982 or some shit anyway AND they only have a range of like 300 miles or some shit.

To actually go anywhere beyond my state I’d need a private jet license which is even more expensive takes a while and WAY outside of affordability.

Ah well guess I’m stuck driving or flying commercial

Well TikTok actually has a pretty good algo (At least awhile ago, it might have become enshittified since) once you use it enough to train it beyond the default new profile feed.

When I was on it, I had gotten the algo to spit out mostly cool educational stuff. Like chemical fun, space stuff, Hank Green stuff, technical things (Like programming tips, cybersecurity, homelab etc) and other nerdy things (Like Star Trek stuffs) with a bit of memes sprinkled in

I would love to get rid of Plex, but jellyfin failed the spouse test last summer and it never really liked my GDrive mount

Plus, Plex clients are everywhere, so it’s all but guaranteed that whoever I decide to onboard is going to have something compatible. I’ve even had early smart TV’s from like 2013 with that weird Yahoo app store thing that had a Plex app that still worked even when the Netflix app didn’t lolol

Depends on how things were inventoried, expensive things like meat were down to like the individual patties.

But fries were eyeballed bag/half bag type thing, so if you were nice about it or cute I would take one of our smallest to-go bags and LOAD it with fries lmfao

I see your point, but unfortunately, there’s lots of proprietary old software that has been abandoned by the original company (Either because they went out of business or just moved on) that’s still in active use and the source never released.

There was just an article on Lemmy a few weeks ago on how multi-million dollar research facilities still have to use ancient software to run critical scientific machines. Although in that particular case they had to maintain old PCs as well because of proprietary drivers

Yea we put ham too, sometimes spam, sometimes bacon. It’s really versatile tbh. We even have other variations like Cheeseburger Macaroni that nearly crosses the line into its own dish.
