When I worked as a cashier in a grocery store many years ago, someone gave me some checks to pay their bill. I didn’t even look at the damn thing, just inputted the numbers it said and started running them through the check machine. It seemed to go through the machine correctly.
But just then the manager ran over and stopped the transaction. They were fake checks.
I guess silly me assumed things would just automatically not go through in the modern age, but I guess it showed me that I really have no idea how check machines like that work.
Still don’t, but I don’t work that job anymore so it doesn’t matter.
If you don’t want to figure out some awkward balancing techniques, you can just use a balance tube. Fill a tube with water to a similar height of the tube it opposes.
I shit my pants in school at a similar age and left it in my pants the rest of the day. Good lord that was major cringe. Ruined my favorite pants too. I almost forgot about that until your comment.
How odd. I’ve never done my of those things and I grew up on computers. I even used computers as my main way of socializing for most of my life and I’ve still never done those things.
Well…I say that but I’ve definitely stood up and yanked stuff to the floor while wearing headphones many times before. But I have done it for years before I even so much as held a Bluetooth headset. It’s just easy to get entangled in wires.
That other stuff is so incredibly odd to me though. I’ve never forgot that i’m not using a computer before.
Nope. It doesn’t at all matter how much sleep I’ve gotten. Even if I consistently get 9 hours of sleep every day for the entire week, it still feels so good to snooze. Obviously it’s easier to not snooze as much if I’ve slept more, but it still feels fucking amazing.
It has always been this way for me, no matter how much or how little sleep I get. It’s wild to me if you don’t experience this.
