Meh. If it didn’t start after Jan 6 and Trump’s first term (when he had the seemingly best chance to do it), I’m not so sure it would start now (if he loses again).

If he wins, we’re headed down the path of a dictatorship and maybe we have something happen then, but him losing is just gonna be a bunch of MAGAts whining some more.

Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future

Show from the 80s that was really just a vehicle for selling toys. They had a line of fighter jet thingies that were light guns you could shoot at the tv and somehow the guns themselves could respond to the lights from the tv and cause the cockpit to eject when it was hit. Not terribly obscure I think, but it was only a thing for like a year or two.

I like some manga and anime, but I usually come away with an uncomfortable feeling when I interact with passionate fans of manga or anime. To me, the vast majority is crap, but there are some good gems here and there. Hardcore fans though are all about the most boring or weird shit, and even have a slightly off sense of humor. I’m sure I’d be seen as some filthy casual who just follows the mainstream shit, like how people outside of RPGs only see DnD as the entirety of the role-playing hobby. It’s probably always going to happen between casuals and passionate fans of any topic.

On the iOS app, is there a way to see a “trending feed” or something that that lets me see beyond who I’ve followed? I followed like one or two people and it feels like my feed now only ever shows stuff from them now.

Invisibility, while cool, just seems like it’d only be cool for a little bit. Like, oh wow, I can sneak into the girl’s room without anyone seeing, woooh. Or I could maybe attempt to rob something and carry whatever I can hold. Meanwhile, Teleportation would mean being able to go literally anywhere on Earth instantaneously. Would almost never need a car or plane ever again in my life. You could take a vacation to a new country every weekend. You would have a get out of jail free card for life. You could talk to anybody you wanted to (assuming their security didn’t tackle and/or kill you if they were important enough).

I usually browse by ‘Top Six Hours’, but I’ll see some weird communities pop up every other day or so, just a string of posts all from one community, like one after the other, then by the next day I’ll never see them ever again. Sometimes it’s some random obscure hobby/interest, sometimes it’s country-specific but in a different language. The foreign language ones I always block (no offense, but if I can’t read it, it’s useless to me). I’ve tried setting my language preference to English, but it never seems to do any good.

Too clean. Should’ve used multiple fonts, stretched/compressed them, and messed with the leading & kerning. Then exported it as a low resolution jpg.
