shalva97,

if they had LAN multiplayer it worked 100% of time. There was this one case with Red Alert where it would disconnect random times, but I never played official vesion so who knows maybe it would be same.

Steam games also work but you need to wait until they get hacked.

Take a look at online-fix.me website. Their games always worked cor me and my friends, just register on it, otherwise they dont show download links

I hope someday we'll find a way to pirated a car (lemmy.world)

In the end, the KIA car company made its cars into subscription models, I really hate this because in the end the car we buy with our own money doesn’t feel like it belongs to us. Should we finally buy an old school car ? so as not to be affected by this subscription models or is there a way to crack the software installed in...

shalva97,

To find a car and control it remotely will need a server. That’s why it’s not free.

it looks like only way is to somehow imitate their API and change those links in the car. I think it would be cool to selfhost such server.

What do you guys do when you want to run unmaintained programs? (lemmy.world)

I recently wanted to run tegaki, and my experience is pretty much summed up by the meme. I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, but I just couldn’t figure out how to compile it. I use both Chrome and Firefox. I mean sometimes I need to use websites that doesn’t work in Firefox, so there is always Chrome in my taskbar :D

shalva97,

I have never opened task manager after I added second 16GB RAM stick. It just all works okay, I don’t even have to close programs.

Is it really 5 minutes? Usually I ask for 2 hours and then spend 2 days on it and by that time there is a new game my friends found

Life is too short to install everything on baremetal.

shalva97,

I have spent 3 days trying to install 64bit Linux on a mini PC which has 32bit UEFI. The funny thing is that this device is so slow probably I will not use it, but I still want to make it work.

shalva97,

It is a ViewSonic, but I don’t know the model. I have it’s PCB and power supply only. CPU is Intel Atom x5-Z8350. Btw I have already installed Linux on it, was a really good feeling, now it is collecting dust on the shelf :D

shalva97,

My plan is to watch less movies, anime, YouTube. Instead go out and meet new people more often
