Years ago I might’ve said something like school or overcoming my setbacks, but if that were the case, it’s less so now because my mind no longer squares the view that they’re challenges with the view or understanding that I would not wish many of the things I went through on anyone, if it ever did. Can you imagine going through things you were never meant to go through while people watch silently and measure your self-worth based on your success in endurance as if to imply the moments that haunt you forever were all a game and one you wanted to play?

Not much. I’m what many might call a relationship anarchist and this can translate into polyamory, especially when QPR’s are a part of the equation (same with my closest friends but in a more meta way), but I’m not in any and never have been. I was offered the chance though because a classmate in middle and high school began aspiring to a polygamist relationship (LGBT relationships were already a thing and I guess my class got ideas) and managed to appeal to a bunch of other classmates. The core classmate of the relationship then had to move though (the family’s mom got a job somewhere else) and that created a weird sense of withdrawal among the participants.

Put a list of Ursula Le Guin works on a wall and throw a dart at one of them. Don’t know which one you threw a dart at? That’s okay, because absolutely none of them have gotten good adaptations.

The only exception, extremely ironically given I’m saying this, is Tales of Earthsea. The first half is alright but I guess they lost their train of thought during the second act (their words not mine) and it became a Legend of Zelda story. Still not terrible though, I can’t understand why people hate on it when the same people love Ponyo.

I upvote any reply to anything I say and everything I reply to as a way of remembering where I’ve engaged. The only exceptions are things with clear perspective-lacking malice.

The real question is, which ones can I stand? Probably anything in the Whistlerverse is okay and even amazing, but other than that and GameXplain, the fandoms (GiancarloParimango11, ProtoMario, etc.), the bait (Matthew Santoro, Thoughty2, etc.), the quality (GameTheory, College Humor, etc.), and the sheer shallowness (Darkmatter2525, How It Should Have Ended, etc.) are too widespread.

There’s the feature on there where you can make groups for other people to post on and I currently help manage eight of those, plus my personal account I use for art and talking about stuff. Despite first impressions, not everyone on there follows the stereotypes, it’s relatively pleasant.

All I can say is everything about this conflict is getting out of hand, and this is a big part of that. The “remember the human” rule isn’t acknowledged by anyone over there, and with the elephants fighting, the grass continues to get trampled. Saddest part is we’ll probably see a bigger version of what’s going on when Pakistan and India boil over some years from now.

It’s difficult to explain if you’re not in their cultural atmosphere reading the room (in my case I have family from there). Outsiders can currently see propaganda show-offs going on, India is maneuvering thought in favor of Israel (one might say going against previous sympathies in the process) while Pakistan is covertly one of the strongest sympathizers of Palestine. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s the subtleties in the expressions that would raise the first alarms if an outsider begged for hints that something is about to erupt. I’d give it one to three years.

I thought Google Plus was amazing. It’s the only social media I would never foresee myself complaining about, even through its demise due to some politicians complaining about it.

Google is less reliable but also different in ways that are useful when used in conjunction with something like DuckDuckGo or Ecosia.

Also, aside from political bias which I don’t pay devoted focus on except as a slight character flaw (not that I don’t reprimand them at all for this, just it’s their site), Google also isn’t a total scam. DuckDuckGo’s selling point to me, if it were true, would be “we don’t track you”, which is false because you used to be able to hover your mouse over a link if you had slow wi-fi (as do I, suck it hackers) and see the transition from the tracking cache. And Ecosia is only slightly better at planting trees than Established Titles, which is… sad? Kinda? And then there’s Bing, where do I begin?

Google Plus was run differently from normal Google or even YouTube, it wasn’t like Twitter where one voice comes to mind, one voice broadcasting themselves as the rep in any way.
