Seems like it’s meant to suggest it was a comic idea mailed in by a fan. But, I don’t believe that’s something Larson actually did/does, so the joke is that he takes fan submissions, no matter how absurd - perhaps commentary on his own work not always making sense?

Fuuuck they got me.

I’d never sing karoake, but there are somehow multiple videos out there of me singing karoake. It’s really a mystery of how that happened, according to my memory…

Also, I wish I could blame AI.

Haven’t driven in over a decade, can confirm it’s like living a dream

Spring water… Now I’m imagining the old peanut brittle/spring snakes gag when opening the can.

When you step on a Lego, you measure the pain in foot-hertz (only in America I guess)

There was a bar near me that had this as a snack, they are delicious

Proxmox HA, Docker Swarm, Kubrenetes, or what?

I’ve gotten to the point where I have more than a few servers in my homelab and am looking for a way to increase reliability in case of an update. Two problems: 2 of the servers will be on Wifi and one is a Synology NAS. I can’t do any wiring but I can put together a WiFi 6E network for the servers only, That means buying 4...

I run k8s, mostly because I use it for work and really enjoy the gitops approach to management. Previously I used docker compose.

I wonder if this inspired the Simpsons gag

Maybe being lost in unfamiliar territory is better than being stuck in a familiar darkness

(Please don’t take this as a judgment of you or even a serious philosophical thought, I’m really high)

It’s a sad day when shitposters don’t recognize a classic copypasta

I had a meatball sandwich today that had the same topology of a taco

That’s what makes it good

Of course, sandwiches like philly cheesesteak, subway sub, and a hoagie on a torpedo roll are all tacos now too, which is nonsense. Fun to think about though.

I tried to add Sonarr to my Plex and I wanted to make an easy way to add series-es from work or wherever so I wanted to use an iMDB list but they didn't have that on Sonarr so I used a Trakt list and (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

…I just accidentally downloaded my entire watch history from the beginning of time. Stopped it by hitting airplane mode. It was at 1750+ and growing....

I did that too, sort of- I added recommended and popular lists to add the pilot episode of shows… and now my disks are constantly at 99.9% full. I delete things I’m never going to watch and it clears space to get more. Some of the content is pretty good and I update the “monitor” settings to get the rest of the show.

Anything I know I want to watch, I set to higher priority.

I’m gonna set up overseerr at some point to help “cycle out” content

I don’t think there is a caption to this one. Just a riff on cowboys singing to cattle. The tuba’s not quite as soothing
