The violin is a lot more prestigeful and has more difficult parts than the viola, so violinists kind of see them as those who wanted to play the violin but weren’t good enough. I guess it actually has to do more with the fact that nobody ever notices the viola since they are awkwardly in the middle, and that they therefore have less motivation to bother to count bars or play correctly in general. Either way they do tend to either forget to play or play the wrong notes every once in a while.

The idea that a ‘rocket piece’ could accidentally fall on a hospital and kill 500 people (a number reported by a first-hand MSF witness) is laughably absurd. If a Hamas rocket could cause this kind of damage, Tel Aviv would look like the surface of the fucking moon. It was OBVIOUSLY another genocidal act by the entity continuously and overtly engaged in genocidal acts. To think otherwise requires you to want to fall for their propaganda. No one in full possession of their faculties looking at the facts dispassionately could possibly conclude it was anything else.
If it was JDAM then where are the pictures of the leveled hospital/crater? Where are the pictures of 500 dead people? That’s A-grade propaganda material for Hamas so why isn’t it all over the internet? All I’m seeing is this picture which judging by the fence and tree is from outside aswell as this with a matching fence, couple burnt cars and some damaged roofing tiles. Ofcourse there’s also the video posted by IDF of aerial footage which matches that picture from the parking lot and shows a very much intanct hospital building.

This specific one has mods who let reported tankie disinformation in form of both comments & threads stay, as well as insults towards other users by the same individuals. I tried reporting rule breaking comments & threads for a few weeks, monitored if they'd do anything, but nothing happened and the same users continued doing the same spiel in other threads.
If Lemmy.ml isn't distancing itself from Lemmygrad and Hexbear and does enforce their rules selectively, then there's no reason to treat them the same as those other extremist communities.
It’s a bit more complicated than that. It may very well be the case for political communities, I don’t really know. But for computer-related stuff and my niche interests, the federation between those instances has (only) benefit to it. So I don’t really support that conclusion in general. But I’m in support of pushing down on toxic behaviour. And not everything on Lemmy is what I’d like it to be.
If you scroll through the community bans of World News@lemmy.ml, you’ll see there’s a mod going crazy handing out months long bans for having the wrong opinion on the current conflict. Mods aren’t beholden to anyone but themselves, so if that’s how they want to mod then that’s how it’s going to be. Thankfully, Lemmy has hundreds of communities discussing the conflict so you might find better mods in one of those communities.
This seems straightforward. You posted your opinion (which is inherently true - no one but you has access to your inner mind, so we must take it on faith you are honestly presenting your opinion to us) and the mod misrepresented this as fact so it could be labeled as misinfo.
But I doubt posting here will fix that. Mostly what you seem to have managed is to attract genocide supporters from Hexbear to troll you. As I understand it, the best way you can handle this on Lemmy is to simply find similar threads on a different instance to engage in discourse in.

There unfortunately is no system in Lemmy (atm) to do this smoothly. When I was on lemmy.world, I used their system they had set up separately and that worked well, but for most instances, the only process to do something like that is to DM an admin directly, which will of course have greatly varied results, and that’s if the admin isn’t supportive of the abusive mod in the first place.
Lemmy isn't a place for debates and arguments. If you don't follow the direction of the topic, don't bother inserting yourself into the conversation.
You need to be nice and supportive of whatever is posted, else you're going to have a bad time.
Read their code of conduct and you'll find that it's a moderator's discretion to ban anyone they believe is disruptive, regardless of the rules.
So unless a moderator goes on a deranged banning binge, you're automatically in the wrong.
If you can't accept that, i suggest you make your own instance, with blackjack and hookers.

I think the idea that this is a negative but to me it is not. If a domain or magazine is run poorly then folks then I don't want to go to it. I just want the individual ability to block at all levels working well and would love it both ways. I learned my lesson from mmo's. A completely horrible cesspit of a chat can become pretty decent with just a dozen or so blocks. People who block everyone on a whim. Well thats great as I doubt their discourse is going to be beneficial. folks that don't ban even though someones pushing the line will be rewareded with a richer experience.
