Small fan switch sanity check. (lemmy.world)

Circuit is for controlling the fan on a Raspberry Pi, just on/off according to temp, no PWM. Not sure about the diode as it has a .7V drop and it’s a tiny brushless DC motor. No markings on the fan so I measured the current with a multimeter when hooking it up to a USB charger. Circuit was adapted from here using what I have...

Adjusting SMPS output voltage (discuss.tchncs.de)

Does anyone recognise these power supplies? They’re cheap AliExpress led drivers and I want to change its output voltage to around 22V from 12V. I’ve read that the way to do this is to adjust the REF voltage on the IC that controls it. It’s a KA3845 but I don’t understand where that reference voltage is regulated. One...

Can someone help me identify this potentiometer from a third party Xbox controller? (lemmy.one)

Trying to repair a Hyperkin Duke Xbox controller where the left trigger doesn’t respond. Found that the resistance of this potentiometer doesn’t change when it’s moved, so I’m looking to replace it. I’m a novice with this stuff though and I’m having trouble identifying it. Any help is appreciated.

Connecting several tracks to the same pad (discuss.tchncs.de)

Hello everyone! I’m designing a PCB and I have some doubts about how to connect the 4 resistors at the top to capacitor C34. They are 4 traces, and all of them terminate at the same pad of the capacitor. As I have currently placed them, are they connected correctly? Or should I connect them in a different way?
