Raiders of the Lost Ark, Mad Max: Fury Road, A Knight’s Tale, Tokyo Godfathers, Life Aquatic.
I’ve seen them all at least 5-10 times fully and probably more times partially. It’s definitely a wide spectrum, and one of them is not what you would call a “good” movie compared to the others. I’ll let you decide which, but I’m hella not ashamed.
Probably A Goofy Movie. I had it on VHS and watched it over and over, the themes in it were just exactly what I needed to hear as a tween. It probably fell behind in the count for a while, but now I have Disney plus and rewatch it pretty regularly. And yes, I've seen the Atlanta episode, I had no idea, and it's hilarious.
I sit and feel horrible about myself, mentally punishing myself for all of the mistakes. About an hour or two later, my mind gives up, and I become pragmatic.
I find the community can be toxic at times; instead of helping newcomers or treating each other nicely, the community can be toxic and alienate the people they want to use Linux.
Microsoft "community" is a bunch of salarymen who's job is to try to empty your pocket and boost the company profits at your expenses. Linux community is people helping you for free.
Programmer and big Linux fan here. I use Linux for multiple servers/vm’s. For a while I also had Linux on my desktop and using a Windows VM with PCI-passtrough for gaming. It works. However I came to the conclusion I was only using the PC for gaming (on the VM), and doing all my programming on my MacBook. So basically the Linux part on my desktop was just useless. Although I want to, I don’t have any use cases for Linux on the desktop.
I mostly buy parts for my woodworking shop at home from Ali. A benchdog is a benchdog and they are absolutely the same to what you get at Amazon, etc. And they are literally 1/3 of the price here even if you add shipping and customs. So if one is truely shit I couldn’t care less.
So far I had no bad experiences really - one shipment was missing a 2 bucks piece but I can live with that. Some things actually surprised me as the quality I got was better than expected.
Electronic wise I bought a Qotom mini PC from them years ago (directly from the Qotom shop) which still works as my UTM.
Last Time I checked, no, Lol and Tft work but valorant has a kernel module and this does not work under Linux. On the other side I wouldnt want loggin capable kernel module in my computer controlled by a Chinese company.
lemmy has completely replaced reddit for me ngl, it’s pretty much the same experience, for me at least, and I actually like it here more, people are more engaging and I got 100+ upvotes on a post for the FIRST TIME!
honestly I don’t see myself going back, I will miss finding a niche sub and having enough content there for me to scroll for hours but hey, we’ll get there too eventually!
