A hot dog. Let the cheese warm to room temp, then toast the bun. Once your Weiner and Buns are both ready put the cheese inside the bun under the dog and it should melt nicely. Add whatever your hot dog toppings of choice are.
Also literally any kind of sandwich that cheese is good on is another safe bet. Also grilled cheese.
You just gonna gloss over the whistle dog? C’mon now.
Take two fingers of cheese and nestle a fried or boiled weiner betwixt. Wrap that thoroughly in long strips of lightly cooked peppered bacon, and poke some toothpicks through to hold it all together. Broil in the oven until the cheese starts to get melty. Bonus points if you get some sear on the bacon before all the cheese escapes. Put that on a toasted bun with garlic butter. Remember to remove the toothpicks. Serve with salsa fries or poutine.
In my opinion, it is another way to get value out of the user instead of giving value.
Managers have to do very little work in terms of understanding the skills of their employees if we do it for them.
A huge step I found in terms of my mental health was to refuse to give reviews anymore, in any form. I am now able to enjoy my experiences a lot more without looking for reasons to critique them.
Yeah, at 7k+ hours, my Dota time dunks on pretty much 90% of the people in this thread. And I’m still not tired of it. It’s a daily ritual type of game.
Thing is, the time I put isn’t even close to the time of several of the people I’ve met.
Yes with modified Apollo and Boost. But, nowadays, many of my Reddit subs seems get a lot of double post, scam ads. if this problem overwhelms my home feed. I will ditch Reddit
I had a web result that the result I was looking for was on Reddit. I guess that’s technically using it, but I wasn’t logged in and didn’t touch anything. It still counts as a visitor though, and I’m disappointed in that.
I love Via 313, but it's gone downhill in recent years, unfortunately. The wait times are ridiculously long, the prices have skyrocketed, and the quality has lowered. Honestly, I could deal with the lower quality if either the price or the wait time went down. It's bad enough paying $15 for a small pan pizza, but it's even worse when it takes 90 minutes to get to you, after you've already been in line for 20 minutes.
Though, that's true for pretty much all the pizza places around here. They've all just gotten progressively worse, and it's really sad. :(
I was following it for the drama involving the blackouts. I logged in today and started browsing around, and can’t help but wonder if it’s recently become even more polarized and radicalized with regards to absurd, hateful opinions, or if my bias’ against it are making it look that way.
Either way, the experience made me feel gross, and it occurred to me that I just don’t want to be there anymore.
Honestly, same. I didn’t fully comprehend exactly how bad it had gotten since it was kind of the boiling frog scenario. When you’ve been on Reddit over a decade you know the userbase is considerably worse than it used to be, way more polarized, and unfortunately way more representative of the general population.
Getting to Lemmy immediately reminded me of how the internet used to be to some degree, and when I read the engagement I don’t feel like I immediately need a shower or a lobotomy afterwards. Let’s hope it stays that way as long as possible.
