I was genuinely shocked at how comfortable the pinetime was from the moment I put it on. Probably just because of the silicon band, but for a very inexpensive watch it felt premium.
Get a watch with a plastic or titanium case to keep the weight down. Then experiment with different bands. If you’re not a fan of the traditional metal link types, look at bands in silicone, nylon, and leather. Find out the distance between the lugs on whatever watch you get (it will probably be included in the description) and look for bands in that size. Any band with the right lug width should fit your watch just fin.
I also recommend bands with quick-release pins. They make it quick and easy to switch bands and do not require any tools.
Not office, but one time I was at the grocery store getting ready to buy my lunch and happened to look in a car next to me. There was a completely naked college age chick in the passenger seat casually smoking a cigarette. She saw me glance at her and rolled her eyes. Is being completely naked in a car in a public place normal or something? I made every effort not to stare, and she was gone when I gone when I got back.
For me it was weight that was a problem for a long time. I wore the 1st watch I bought, an '85 Commodore with dial and display for ages. When I wanted something new again, I went into the store and told them that I wanted something just as light. I went out with a Pulsar titanium model that was 2 gram heavier, but it was close enough.
In '12 I discovered it wasn’t weight, but the electronics that was the main cause of issues. Now I wear mechanical watches, with a Seiko 5 as daily and several automatics and manual winders as extra for when I feel like wearing something else.
Some have metal bands, some leather. I prefer metal in summer, leather in winter.
Former National Security advisor and Secretary of State who, among other things, deliberately prolonged the Vietnam War just to get Nixon elected, drove policies which decimated Cambodia and Laos, and had ties to the Pinochet regime. Western Liberals prefer to remember him for setting up talks with China, and detente with the Soviets. The founder of realpolitik and symbol of Western imperialism over the last half of the 20th century.
Many of us have been waiting a long, long time to piss on his grave, including (I’m sure) the families of the half-million or so people who died in Indochina because of the extended war and carpet-bombing.

To protect everyone involved, this may or may not have happened ;)
Was working interstate at a new location for a few weeks. I didn’t know the area well enough and got caught up with traffic and lack of parking on my first day, so was late. No major issue but I knew I would have to come in earlier to avoid that in future. I started coming in at 630 because I am an early riser and my contract had me doing longer hours than the workers. I could be early and still in the office before everyone left at the end of the day.
Across the alley was another older office building that I noticed I could see clearly into an office, just above the desk area. On my first day I watched this older male manager hold meetings and so on. Nothing interesting.
On my second day, just before 7am, I watched this much younger woman appear in his office and undo her blouse before going to town on this guy. Kneeling behind his desk, head bobbing like a chicken eating feed. 5 mins later he must have been done as she wipes him down and they both straighten themselves up.
I then proceeded to notice her coming in and out of his office all day for meetings so I assume it was his secretary or assistant. Nothing else of that nature happened again throughout the day.
Next day, same thing. And it carried on every day of my 3 week contract.
