The biggest green flag is that you like being around them and you miss them when they’re not there. I know that seems kinda obvious and a weird thing to say, but hear me out. Sometimes people get invested into a relationship, and don’t even realize that they don’t like spending time with their partner. Wanting to be around them, like actually longing for their company, is a green flag.
I have a pixel watch, but I usually just wear my regular watch. I forget to charge the smart watch, and that annoys me. I always sleep wearing my watch so it’s hard to remember to take it off at night and charge it.
I ONE TIME bought a Camembert with the plan to bake it. I very seriously thought that something was rotting in my kitchen and actually cleaned out the fridge. When I discovered that it was the cheese, I put the whole thing into a sealed container and the kitchen STILL smelled rotten.
Don’t get me wrong, that baked Camembert was amazing. But not worth the smell lol.
The French secret for brie - leave it out before you eat it. I’m talking like a day or two. It’s bland otherwise but takes on a camembert quality as it rapidly ages
Just recently went been to a Fitbit charge 6 from a Galaxy watch 5. I don’t use any of the features of a smart watch and having to charge it every day is bullshit. The Fitbit is charge ever week or week and a half.
I had a smartwatch for a bit and I realized the only things I cared about were the biometrics and clock. I got rid of it and got a nice watch and an oura ring that I only need to charge once a week and I much prefer this setup.
I don’t know how useful it would be without the membership as I haven’t tried it. I am unsure to be honest, the advanced features I am kind of on the fence about, but the sleep insights have been very helpful. I do like the workout tracking which I think is free.
I just start with “It’s basically just a community owned Reddit” and leave it at that.
I think that gets the important point across. Getting into details about federation and picking servers just makes it sound complicated, when it really isn’t.
Then if someone’s interested I just recommend them a larger server and let them go from there.
I think people way over complicate things from the start and turn people off before they even try it.
I’m the exact opposite with sweet potatoes. I always forget that I don’t like them. I want to like them so badly, I mean come on, bright orange mashed potatoes! But Everytime I try to eat one I just can’t finish it. It’s weird .
Same here. I think they’re just too sweet for me, somehow? Which is odd, because I’ll eat things like acorn squash which get kinda sweet when cooked. ::shrug::
I had a blackberry bold which was sorta in between smart and dumb. My last actual dumb phone was an LG rumor, which was one of those with the full querty slide-out keyboard
