For the cost of heating you can pay for a lot of gym membership. And if you don't use the gym cancle (gyms are notorious for being hard to cancle so read the fane print)
I got a Caldera spa in their mid range line. It is 240V, 5 person, with a salt system and a cover lifter. It cost about $12k USD all told. I love it, but DEFINITELY get the salt system for chlorinating. It would be much more of a pain in the ass without it. As it is, I still love the thing and use it regularly. I check the water chemistry about every five days and it’s super simple to maintain. If I have a party and we are in for extended periods I have to add chlorine daily for a few days but that’s it.
I use yakisoba from the grocery store, toss it in a bowl with 2 bags of Daring chicken, shredded carrots and lots of onion and bell pepper. Air roast for about 25 minutes while the rice cooker does it’s thang.
Delicious, with a little salad on the side too.
This is for lazy days where I get home and am just too tired to cook.
I don’t think so, I think unfunny comedy is being highlighted and comedians trying to be Carlin with their commentary but offensive comedy is alive and well.
With how often I run into people who don’t even get super obvious jokes and take memes super seriously: It’s no surprise that the top comment in this thread says “most jokes aren’t funny and most comedians aren’t funny.” Nothing is funny when you lack a sense of humor.
The downvotes and political tangent replies only confirm my opinion on the matter. Ya don’t have a sense of humor and just want to deflect from that fact by getting offended and it’s lame
The API changes woulnd’t even have affected me directly - I don’t use any apps, never used bots, and was part of a sub that was noticable more friendly and clean than a whole lot of similar subs, no toxicity but interesting content and very active mods.
But it didn’t sit right with me how nonchalantly u/spez disregarded any and all complaints, didn’t give a shit about people who would be literally unable to use his site with the changes he wanted to implement (the majority of people in r/blind for example), openly mocked everyone that wasn’t a bootlicker and still to this day thinks that he did everything right and “crushed the protests” and all that jazz. This guy lives in his own little bubble in which he is convinced the dumpster fire he calls reddit is the best thing since sliced bread and he’s a genius without fault.
Fuck u/spez.
I deleted everything I had contributed to that site over the course of 9+ years, nuked my account and moved to LW instead. I’m still in the process of reformatting and reuploading everyting I had removed from the former site, but I feel a lot more at ease having my guides, art etc. hosted on a site that isn’t a corporate shitfest run by a delusional egomaniac with an army of astroturfing bots.
…and in retrospect, it was about high time I jumped ship, as my former main sub has gone down the drain big time since that debacle. The original creator hasn’t done anything in months, the formerly active mods obviously don’t give a shit about scammers, repost bots and trolls anymore (or they, too, have simply left) and the most upvoted posts and comments are always some cringey regurgitated meme spam and low-effort shitposts. I’m glad I am no longer part of that, albeit in a bittersweet way. It feels like seeing an Ex that you formerly adored turn a crackhead hobo after you broke up.
Baked potatoes are easier in an air fryer. Bacon works surprisingly well. It’s essentially a small oven, so anything that fits in it is probably worth trying in it.
Hot tub chemical stores always tell you to use bromine instead of chlorine. They claim chlorine will destroy your tub. I have been using chlorine for 20+ years on 3 different tubs. Never had a problem. I suspect they recommend bromine only because it’s more expensive.
Bromine has a higher boiling point than chlorine, which allows it to stay in the hot water longer. You can use chlorine in a hot tub, but you have to add it more frequently to achieve the proper level of sanitization.
It’s a matter of long-term economic effect. Both work, but one is cheaper in the long-term because bromide sanitizers for longer at higher temperatures, such as those which exist in hot tubs. That’s the point they were making.
Chlorine also works fine, but because of the higher temperatures, you have to use more, which cost more.
