The series creators wanted to film the series in Hawaii. But another little dino project was also filmed on that location: Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. Spielberg also happened to be a producer of Terra Nova. He didn’t want Terra Nova to be filmed on Hawaii out of fear it would be too similar to Jurassic Park and he practically vetoed it away. This forced the creators to look elsewhere and i believe they settled on New Zealand. The problem however was that it was massively more expensive to film a series there. The costs eventually canned the series.
It’s yea or nay. Yes, I know it’s confusing because they rhyme and they’re spelled differently, but that’s how English is sometimes. A lot of the time.
I wouldn't worry too hard about that one. The difference is one of the things a person only picks up on by seeing it written like that over and over for years. I'd probably have to stop and think about it too.
Somewhere in Time, which someone already mentioned. I wish I liked it more, but it gets credit because the Jack Finney book Time and Again, which it is very loosely inspired by, is one of the best time travel stories ever.
And Continuum. Not because it’s the greatest, but no one had mentioned it yet, and this thread could be a great reference for anyone in the future. No pun intended.
Yes. But I did happen to stumble across its Denizen line about a year ago when I was in the US and in a Target. I really liked them, so upon another visit this summer I bought three additional (identical) ones, as I’ve not seen them here in europe.
I am the least fashionable person in existence, and I 100% prefer function over form. And the Denizen is by far the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned.
I am confused. I thought the OP was asking about pants, as in underpants and people are suggesting jeans. Is this just a misunderstanding or are there actually jeans underpants ?
I am aware of the dialect difference… was just wondering if there really is such a thing as underpants made of jeans material … that sounds comfy to wear at home.
Definitely a fan of Levi’s, especially the high-waisted models. I intensely dislike the feeling of my pants being about to fall off, so low-waisted is out. The 516 is my favourite, although I also have 541s, 501s, 505s, and 550s.
Mostly getting my wife and kids “experience” gifts this year, rather than physical things. Nobody needs or wants much, so instead I’m getting tickets to concerts, plays, musicals, comedy shows, etc.
That’s part of the appeal to the other 7.6 billion of us. It’s an international fediverse rather than a US corporate entity. Kinda like how popular forums used to have a link to other popular forums except you can also get a feed from the linked forums. Much better. Will just take time to grow. Reddit took nearly a decade to reach critical mass.
